Why This Man Risks His Life Debating Islam

Maybe God Podcast

142,552 views

Why would someone risk everything to challenge one of the world’s largest religions? For nearly twenty years, Dr. David Wood has fearlessly defended Christianity and exposed what he believes are the hard truths about Islam and the Quran—no matter the cost.

In this powerful interview, David opens up about his own conversion from atheism to Christianity inside a jail cell, the mental health diagnosis that shapes the way he lives and works, and the story of his best friend, ex-Muslim Nabeel Qureshi, whose decision to follow Jesus changed both their lives forever.

I was muslim and I searched Islam, then left, I searched Christianity, then I accepted. Jesus is my Lord and Savior.

My dear friend Yusufa - I met in Cameroon fled his father when he converted to Christianity from Islam. He literally ran from his father chasing him with a machete in to the jungle, he survived the solo journey from Nigeria to Cameroon on foot. Dr. David Wood is absolutely right Muslims make the best Christians. My friend blessed me and enriched my soul like no one has since. I praise Jesus and thank Him for the Muslim to Christian convert.

Ex Muslim from Pakistan originally - I totally Agree with you and your research helped me a lot leaving this cult. My family cut all ties with me and they threatened me , but I don’t care truth is truth. Love Jesus ❤

God bless David. He helped me not only leave Islam but recognize that as a woman I was valuable, a human worthy of respect, and not destined to just submit to abuse all the time. I could choose better and as I watched God work through him, I decided to submit to Jesus. He helps so many people, I'm glad to see him on here! :) Thanks for the podcast episode, very enjoyable.

DAVID WOOD IS A HERO

@TheLayman123 10 months ago (edited)

David Wood Was The Man Who actually made me pick up a Bible and try to find contradictions for 3 years.
I had been an atheist for 17 years, 14 to 29.
I watched David abolish Islam, and I was like...
Bro.. knows something I don't.
now I know what he knew that I didn't.
God.

David is my hero. I hope one day I can openly expose Is-lam and not have the law come after me. That's the only reason my reach is only to my friends and acquaintances, otherwise I'd be exe-cuted. Thanks for interviewing him, sir, you got a new sub.

I wonder how many Christians there are who would credit their leaving Islam to David Wood. I see so many in the comments! 🙌 He's not the apologist I want to tell my youth group to watch (oh my gosh the al zutt jokes 😂), but the Lord has clearly used him and I'm thankful for him

What a beautiful great friend Dr David Wood is! He spoke even more boldly against Islam, as to be a bigger target than his best friend Nabeel. 🥰. His bravery, knowledge and devotion are admirable. I love the guy!

Love David! He is truthful, he is relentless, he is a beautiful warrior of Christ. God bless you and your family and friends!

Al Zutt is the weirdest story in the Quran along with dipping the other wing of a fly that falls in your coffee😂😂😂

Jesus died and rose to save us from our sins and bring us out of darkness!

@manuelsalgado9457 11 months ago

If a christian sends death threat to someone who left christianity that person is not and probably was never a true christian. If a muslim threatens to kill a former muslim he is a true follower of islam. See the problem???
