1984 was absolutely stacked with great movies

When Buckaroo Banzai was out, I wrote Fox for a press kit. What I got blew my mind- a themed bandana, stickers, pins, photos, and in-universe news letters from the Banzai Institute. In fact, I received them in a steady stream every few months for a couple of years.

"Conol Cochran, the old man from Robocop." lol Well done.

Oh Zone Troopers..how I love it. I was at university and there was a corner store that did video rentals near where I lived. The lovely couple who owned it were amazing. I would take my copies of Fangoria and Starburst and ask them if they could get the movies I’d read about and they would. I rented these movies over and over. Zone Troopers being one.
