You deserve acknowledgement of your Gene Wilder Wonka egg.

I just put a bid on a mitigation job that is a part of a real estate transaction. I incorporated an estimate for a nice encapsulation system through a third-party company. We'll see if the seller pulls the trigger with the big price tag.

I'm enjoying your videos. Thanks for posting them. Btw, I actually joined Michael (Crawl Space Ninja) for 3 or 4 videos earlier this year.

Didn't watch the whole video but do you recommend a cap on the top on the roof in the northeast?

What adhesive do you use for adhering your plastic to the walls?

Thank you for the explanation at the end. My builder cut a lot of corners. After having my new home inspected the inspector said he'd never seen a radon system set up like mine. I was worried that the builder shafted me on the system. I now understand it's bare minimum lol. Is it normal to have the fan inside the crawl space with the exhaust just on the side of my home less than a foot from the ground?

By taking care of the seller, haven't you short changed the buyer by doing the bare minimum? Is it protected adequately?

6mil plastic doesn't do sh@t. Will rip and decompose in no time

Great video. Thanks for sharing. In your area do you charge per the sf? What is something like this going to run Bob the seller roughly?

I had a radon company come in and give an estimate. He said I needed 20 mil plastic. I believe I have 6 mil plastic already on the dirt.  Should I look for another company to do the work? He said the plastic was $25.00 per sq ft. He estimated that for the plastic and fan were going to run $3,750.00. Does that sound right?

Before running the corrugated pipe under the crawl space liner should I use an end cap on the perforated pipe?
