Good on you a useful video for people who need to eat on a budget

Brilliant Mandy, for those on a budget with kids, no excuse to make a lovely meal like that for them ,ty for sharing ❤

That looks so tasty and very affordable. , I ignore use by and best before, if it looks alright and smells alright we eat it, especially veg, we never needed anyone to tell us it was ok to eat

You can add 1/4 cup of browned mince.

As a one-off meal, fair enough, but budget-wise you could buy actual mince and either freeze some or use it for something else. Way nicer and would actually be cheaper.

Thank you!❤

Yummy 😋
I'm going to make that when I go camping

Used to do this. Made pies and spaghetti bol.  Then still did it on caravan holidays.  And tinned steak  too

I always keep tins of bits and bobs in. Mince, chicken in white sauce, meatballs in tomato sauce, ravioli. I dress then up with extras when I’m in a hurry, or short of money. It’s amazing how tasty you can make things. I sometimes use tinned mince and instant potato for a cottage pie when I’m in a rush. I never thought I’d enjoy it, but I do.  Thanks Amanda xx

a Couple of Rounds of Bread .......Nice

That's why I love basic down to earth stuff like this because sometimes I'm skint. Yes, why tell lies it's the absolute truth.  Come on the celtic

I have made cottage pie with that one off them tins yes was ok quite nice

Nice meal

Great advice and looks really tasty.

I have never seen minced beef in a tin, my preference has always been fresh minced beef.  But appreciate there are many people who are on tight budgets, so well done showing this.

l really like the concept  of recipes cooked on a budget. I live in a fairly large Community. It's a mix between pensioners and young families. All have watch the pennies. Some of which are single parents on a tight budget. They still have to budget for rent, gas and electricity,, water, Council tax etc. So recipes that can save a few bob is a great idea.

❤looks yummy * cute cat in background

To me a cottage pie is basically whatever veg is there, peas, corn, carrot, onion even mushroom if it needs using and obviously red meat that isn't sheep because then it's a Shepherds pie. The cheese on top is optional, I do with, without, it depends.

Thank you for your money saving recipes you don't know how much it helps God bless you for giving us your down time 😇

There is absolutely nothing wrong with tinned mince meat - sure, fresh mince is better but for a cheap meal, you can't beat it. The crunch when you broke into those potatoes was outrageous. Fantastic video Mand.
