I Started playing Black Flag Resynced and this video pops out. Is crazy how accurate the story of the game is accurate to Black beard, even the damn outfits with the fuses light up on the hair 😂😂.

Actually, Blackbeard is a former member of Whitebeard's Pirate, but he killed his crewmate and stole the Yami Yami no Mi. During the Marineford War, he killed his former captain, Whitebeard, and somehow stole the Gura Gura no Mi. He became a Warlord of the Sea after that, but it was abolished, and currently he's a Yonko.

For any interested in this even if not big on video games get assasins creed black flag. Alot of the game is historically accurate ( alot isnt also ) but amazing experience overall if you want to sail around as pirate and you even meet black beard and do a couple raids with him.

Pirates were glamoriized in literature and popular culture, but they were often cruel, sadistic and ruthless. Of all of maritime history, they are the worst. They made the seas even more dangerous than they already were.

The real irony of Blackbeard is that despite his reputation as an evil pirate, he was a big softy. He very rarely ever hurt anyone, mostly letting his reputation do the job.

Robert Earl Lee looks remarkably similar to the civil war General Robert E Lee.

According to the book "Under the Black Flag, a hisory of Pirates," Blackbeard was cut by Maynard's sword, he gave the younger man credit for landing the blow (was told that he was going to like the next one even better), then took another that nearly severed his head, killing him instantly. Blackbeards severed head was mounted on the bowsprit of Maynard's sloop when he returned. Pretty good read for anyone interested in the subject. Maynard promptly finished the job and mounted Blackbeard's head on the bowsprit when he returned home. Great read for anyone interested in the subject.
