Should have damage rating/ratio that only allows a loot if you done enough damage to any Arc.

Sometimes, I just wanna shoot some robots but this raid was the final straw 💀

Embark is adding PVE mode to get the player count back up. By now most everyone knows the true PVE only players pretty much bailed from the game. This mode if made permanent will definitely bring most of them back. The lack of new content would be their only excuse now. Wouldnt have to worry about cheaters or extraction rats. Now taking down large Arc and the fight to get parts would be interesting since you cannot attack those that inevitably will rush to get everything they can. Plus the game was originally promoted as a PVE extraction shooter.

it would be real fun to have a deathmatch or ffa mode on a small arena for warmups. could be like a paintball mode in like speranza for training raiders

My hope is they add a system where its loot priority for whoever did the most to a arc and maybe for the larger arc (queen type stuff) it maybe just auto divides the loot fairly? who knows. either way as a 29 soon to be 30 year old man lol im looking forward to the PvE mode as i love extraction games (PvE Tarkov is still my favorite by far) but the PvP can feel a tad overwhelming somedays.

when the game came out i was all in, making friends with randoms, going in sometimes just to kill on sight. I did the expedition, and the magic was gone, the grind for benches killed it for me that for me. It didnt feel so bad first time around, but having to do it again, just wasnt fun. Especially if other people didnt reset and killed me so easily

I think the bigger point here is being missed. The existence of a PvE option does not mean PvP failed, nor does it mean ARC Raiders suddenly has to abandon its extraction identity. It means the game became larger than the original assumptions about who would play it. Some people come for the paranoia and unpredictability of another Raider potentially shooting them; other people are fascinated by the ARC, exploration, objectives, progression and spontaneous cooperation. Why should one group’s enjoyment require eliminating the other group’s choice? Embark’s own data shows there is a substantial audience for both. Keep PvPvE dangerous, give it better rewards and exclusive high-risk content, and let PvE exist alongside it with appropriately reduced rewards. Then the player who wants tension gets tension, the player who wants cooperation gets cooperation, and neither has to destroy the other experience in order to justify their own. That isn’t weakening the game—it’s understanding the audience the game actually created.

the reason I stopped playing Arc Raiders was because of betrayals lol. People pretending to be friendly.

I left the game for Marathon which I played for the past 6 months. Never been so addicted to a game that long, and the highs are soo high. And if anything, it made me better at FPS because I was always chasing that high so I tried to learn as much tech as I could.

But unfortunately Im done with the game too. Now Im playing No More Room In Hell 2, and its fun though it has its flaws. Not sure how long this will last, but I already know what game to play next (Enshrouded)

This game just never clicked for me unfortunately never got the hype for it but happy for everyone that likes it hope the update is great for everyone playing

I think people that play extraction shooters, dont like extraction shooters. All the complaints i hear about arc or marathon are extraction shooter mechanics

since theyre doing this they should increase the damage or health that the bots do to you in the pve mode and then decrease it in the pvp mode. The only reason i left is because the bots are too strong and interfere way too often during coombat with other players. Was so annoying because i love the combat and style of the game.

What about pvp and pve zones on the same map? Take the division for example. You the player have both choices.

Let’s goooooo

Will you ever go back to apex

I rather play Active Matter right now.
That game let me choose if I want to play PvP or PvE. Also the game has anti camper mechanics. If you stay to long in a area the game will spawn enemies who start to attacks you immediately.

I don’t think a universal pve only toggle is the right way to go. I stopped playing a long time ago due to the growing hack issue that was taking too long to get handled, the lack of content. Obviously if you don’t wanna deal with hackers on top of PvP, you can never guarantee a fully safe lobby. But maybe a pve map modifier or event that has a higher likelihood of happening alongside a strong pve event like the matriarch, queen etc. also on regular map conditions. So it rotates in and out of gameplay and gives some options and variety.

0:32 Thats what makes the game interesting. You never know if someones friendly or not. Im more on the PvE side for sure but I would like Arc Raiders to stay PvPvE. PvE only could be pretty boring.

The main reason theyre adding pve is because they simply cannot keep up with the cheaters, and its threatening their game and money.

Even if they add a PvE mode, consider Blue Gate PvP. Lol.

Man I used to watch you a ton during apex 😂 those were the days happy to see you playing arc raiders!
