I actually do a lot of repair work on my thrift finds.. I can't believe people get rid of really good clothes because of a hole or a missing button.. they are easy repairs..visible mending is very therapeutic.. make sure you use the right tools for the job.. a speed weaver helps or a darning mushroom lots of tutorials and I think we need to make mending coll again 😊

My Wednesday is sorted. Sat in our holiday cottage in North Wales getting my Junkbug fix ❤️❤️❤️

Mate, I got a vintage knitted jumper from the thrift store. Thought it was fine to wear, but decided to give it a quick wash anyway... the water turned pitch black lol. For suits and blazers, run your hands along the racks and try to feel for high-end fabrics. I’ve grabbed a Scabal Super 120s  navy jacket for a tenner and a Made in Italy Ralph Lauren (glen plaid, made by Corneliani) for a fiver before.

Can't help but think the penny save meter tube reminds me of the tube from fat vs skinny lol

Got some black trainers brand new tags on for 6 pounds they were 18 pounds. Got a lightly used brevell air fryer single drawer extra large capacity for 20 pounds these are to keep on well happy
