Corrections:

Restored content isn't actually out on the switch yet apparently LOL

If you kill Atris, I believe the restored content mod places your lightsaber on her body

I forgot you do use a pressurized suit in KOTOR I during the leviathan segment.

Clarification on Visas: All Miraluka see through the force, but they have eye sockets. When Visas was captured during the loss of her planet, Nihilus seemed to "remove the flesh from her sockets"

Misunderstood the asteroid scene. The decision is to shoot the asteroids yourselves or let the Sith do it.

Finally something "short" to watch while eating

I never knew until I revisted these games as an adult that I was even playing a tabletop rpg the whole time.

It really was the friends we made along the way

5 hours in, excellent so far except one thing. I cannot believe the lack of included companion dialog audio. I mean whats an extra 2 hours if that means we get to hear "HE HATH BROUGHT YOU TRUTH AND YOU DENY IT? THE ARROGANCE" at least once

The reason your character is on the Harbinger in the beginning is the same reason literally everyone in the galaxy knows of you and in general what you're up to, and the same reason the colony on Kataar (Visas's homeworld) was targeted and destroyed by Nihilus: Atris. The Sith Triumverate were never as all-seeing as the Jedi in hiding believed. Kataar was also the place where the greater Jedi Order were gathered to discuss said Sith threat, which is the actual reason Nihilus went there. But not by his own recognizance; Atris leaked the info out to draw the Sith out of hiding, but because she had no idea what Nihilus was (a walking wound in the Force) her actions lead to the majority of Jedi survivors after the Civil War being wiped out. Second, she leaked the Exile's information to the coreward holonet databases for the same reason, meaning she's ALSO personally responsible for the destruction of Peragus and near death of the Republic (since Telos's restoration project, relying solely on Peragus's cheap fuel to stay afloat, would have failed and plunged the galaxy into a depressive state without the infrastructure of the Republic to recover). And thirdly, she chose "non-force" acolytes (barring Brianna, which she didn't know about) because she knew if she had actual Force Sensitives attending to her they would have been able to sense her Sith artifacts, and her own descent into the Dark Side. Her incompetence very nearly destroyed the Galaxy as we know it, and she embodies the hypocrisy of the Orthodox Order at that time. Her hatred of the Exile is pure self-projection.

I also think you misunderstand that the Exile is the same kind of being that Nihilus is. A walking Wound in the Force. That their very presence leeches off the life energies and wills of everyone around them, and that Nihilus was unbeatable without the Exile being another Wound. Merely standing in Nihilus's presence, unless you are a Wound yourself, means you've already lost the fight. That ONLY the Exile could have even stood a chance, let alone defeated him. The stated reason the Jedi are afraid of the Exile and try to end them, is because they believe it is not possible to be a Wound and not inherently threaten all life in the Galaxy, and even the entire universe like Nihilus does. But if you're a good person aligned with the Light, you can offset the negative effect you have on others by reversing the flow of the draining effect you possess, bolstering others instead of slowly killing or enslaving them. The Exile isn't 'really' Force Sensitive, at the end of the day. They just use the power they get from the killing of their enemies to simulate it. Until they start to try healing the Galaxy, and in turn reconnecting with the Force.

What sucks is that The Old Republic didn't do anything meaningful with the Jedi Order, as it 'logically' should have been the Exile's apprentices that got the structure and foundation of the Order up and running again after the Exile returned to Revan's side. But no. The Jedi Order in the MMO Old Republic is just as corrupt, stagnant, and self-righteous as it was in the Kotor games, and would remain up until the Prequel era. Nothing was learned from the Exile or their experiences, which means Kreia failed at literally everything she ever set out to do. Even her assertions about your loved ones being a weakness is proven false, since Revan and Exile both lost because they tried to be singular heroes and paid for it with their lives. SWTOR proves time and time again that the Emperor they were trying to stop would never have been stopped off of their efforts alone; his final death came because your Old Republic player character summoned the spirits of everyone Vitiate ever hurt and only together as a group who cared for each other was he finally defeated. I understand ToR was aiming for a general movie-going audience instead of a Kotor loving audience, but it still hurts what could have been.

This is the beginning of my "I clock out of work when the video ends" challenge

By the end of the video, you'll feel the 'A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...' in your bones.

The High Republic series introduced the concept of the Wayseekers, which is what Qui-Gon would have been if that concept still existed in his time. I haven't finished the series, but I suspect all the Wayseekers died out, and their way was scrubbed from the increasingly corrupted council's records in order to keep all Jedi in the Order.

Wayseekers abandon their duties to the council to purely follow the Force wherever it takes them, but they are still a form of Jedi recognized by the Order.

2:07:26 Jolee is exactly a grumpy old man living in the bottom of a forest. His entire character is grumpy old man who enjoys doing grumpy old man things like messing with the young people

Laying in bed looking for something short to fall asleep to when I look and behold. This is where the fun begins.

3:30:09 FYI you can also use the life drain dark side force power on the Jedi bodies and gain health from them while also making them unusable for Malak.

One of the issues I have with the "canonical" jedi exile is that in the novel it was canonized in, the author didn't even play KotOR2 or cared about KotOR2 aside from the sparknotes version of the game. So any of the deep themes that caused the Exile to become who they were at the end of the game were effectively ignored in favor of turning them into a Revan cheerleader.

Some interesting facts about peragus:

If you shut down the driods on the admin level, you can, with a high enough skill, make them allies for the fight with HK.

And speaking of HK, you can actually trick him to give the entire door code in the maintenance guys voice.

Small correction, the rakghouls weren't a product of taris pollution, but were a creation of an sith lord with the use of a sith amulet that controls the wearer into creating rakghouls

I have already watched these videos. I've listened to the Spotify version of KotOR 1 way too many times. But here I am doing it again.

4:56:52 I prefer the dark side route for this one because the brother running the black market also gives you a discount at the end of the quest line along with decent credit payouts along the way.

This is a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

I really like the idea of Atton repeating jokes to make sure everyone heard it

4:28 No kidding, they captured Ron Perlman's apperance in every detail!
You are on a roll lately and Im excited for this to be my nightly viewing for the next week or two
