❗️[Caution] Resetting the Integrated Battery Current Value❗️
Please note that some manufacturers require a reset for idle-stop vehicles, while others do not.

Domestic manufacturers that require a reset: Toyota/Lexus, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi (standard-sized vehicles)
Domestic manufacturers that do not require a reset: Mitsubishi (minicars), Subaru, Daihatsu, Suzuki

Note: While some Honda models may be able to be reset manually, please be aware of this.
Note: If you replaced the battery yourself and are using a manufacturer that requires a reset, we recommend consulting a dealer for assistance.

I researched the information before proceeding, but this is purely a DIY project from an amateur perspective.

*This time, I used a memory backup connected to the OBD II port.

I was able to use it without any issues during battery replacements on both a Daihatsu Move Canvas and a VW Golf R. However, I received feedback that backing up with a 12V power source would be better.
