“Sir, Can You Lend Me $3?” the Poor Little Girl Asked the Mafia Boss—What Happened Next Stunned Him!

Eight-year-old Sophie Carter, orphaned and living with her sick grandmother Margaret, stops powerful Mafia Boss Dante Moretti outside a Brooklyn pharmacy and asks to borrow exactly three dollars for medicine. When Dante sees Margaret’s name on the prescription, he realizes she is the nurse who saved his father twenty years earlier. Dante soon discovers that Sophie’s parents did not die in an ordinary car accident. Her father, Thomas, had uncovered suspicious shipping records connected to Dante’s uncle, Adrian Moretti. As Dante grows protective of Sophie and investigates the conspiracy, Adrian learns Margaret is still alive and sends men after her. Margaret is kidnapped, but not before secretly leaving behind a brass key as a clue. Sophie then makes a dangerous journey to Dante’s estate and begs him to bring her grandmother home, pushing Dante toward a final confrontation with the traitor inside his own family.
