Experience Bergen, Norway from a different perspective 🇳🇴
Welcome to Part One of Harald Feels the Pulse of Bergen.
In this new series, I explore my hometown in different ways — sometimes walking, sometimes riding, and sometimes simply being a tourist in my own city.
In this episode, I arrive by motorcycle and begin beside Bergen’s historic harbour, near the Voorbode anchor. From here we take in the atmosphere around Vågen, the old ships and the famous Bryggen waterfront.
Then come along as I ride through the heart of Bergen to Strandkai Terminal, where we stop and enjoy the beautiful view across Vågen. From there, the journey continues through the city towards Nøstet and past the Dokken harbour area before heading home.
This series is not meant to be a traditional guided tour. It is about experiencing Bergen as I see it — the streets, harbour, boats, people, history and everyday life. There is some music and a little narration, but most of all, I let Bergen speak for itself.
