so fitting that pat’s last battle is the one where he’s being complimented. rest in power.

Pat Stay was a true gentleman and I'm happy to have been able to see this live. Rest In Peace to a 1 of 1.

For people coming to watch this after the news. Take a look at what everyone said about Pat in these comments before he died. To be treated like a legend before you story ends… shows how much respect the world of rap has for him and will have for his legacy.

i wish myverse just shut up and ate her pizza during this battle.

Calvin, when you eventually read this, just know your father loved you endlessly. He was a legend and wanted to be a great man for you. ❤️

Damn it. A grown man watching this with tears in my eyes.

Pat took what he had in this life and made something of it and provided for his with it.

Today has been an insanely surreal and awful day.

RIP to a certified 1of 4 on the battle rap MT Rushmore

“Ears are like cute little clams” is the funniest dumbest thing 😂😂😂

Bruh that girl should never ever be allowed at a battle again.

Pat Stay really is the goat. The compliment battles have been done for a while and Pat has two of the best that have been put out.

Pat’s charisma was on full display in this. His rhyme patterns were ridiculous as well.

It’s been a year man and I’m still just as sad. Miss the big dog. Great compliments battle.

Pat was and will always be the best in my opinion. I died laughing at 16:49 when he called everybody gay, then said "It's called lyricism"...little details like that he just throws in are just genius lmao

"On the bright side I'm addicted to crack" 🤣🤣🤣🤣

RIP Pat, you were truly one of a kind!

Pat's multis are crazy. To this day

18:18 Dunsh held back tears, what he wrote was real despite the jokes in the round. Dunsh, you’re an amazing battler. Remember that. Even tho Pat is gone we look to us for validation. Never pay attention to the clowns trolling.

Coming back to this after I've had a little time, I gotta say I'm glad Pat's last battle was a compliment battle. He basically spent his last battle cosigning someone who clearly saw him as a major influence, and I feel this was a good note to leave us with, despite all the dream battles we'll never get. RIP Pat

“I’ve never met a Kevin who looks more like a Kevin in my life!” line was so great! Will miss his energy. R.I.P Pat.

Pat Stay = Replay Value

I feel like being on stage with Pat Stay is the equivalent of riding a Rollercoaster with no harness. It's a thrill but there's no surviving.
