Missed the opportunity to call it the buzzlock

For anyone who wasn't there for the stream: It lasted about 12 hours (only ending at 5 AM EST) so that hour of bedwars almost made half of chat lose their minds

This is the most compelling and cohesive narrative of a man drinking alone in his dark room while playing a children’s game that I have ever watched

unironically one of the best PSAs for how judgements are impaired when drinking

Clammy being called a disappointment only to then go on to be the only survivor is such a character arc

the fact that purugly is out speeding like ur whole team and landing 65 accuracy hypnosis like it has 100 accuracy is abysmal to me, i wouldve lost it 😂

Most videos on nuzlockes don't tend to keep me engaged, which isn't a bad thing necessarily, it gives me what I want most of the time. This one, however, kept me on edge right until the last pokemon fell. Especially amusing to see the sole survivor, considering how underestimated they clearly were.

by sip 12 bro was wondering why his water type tanked a special steel move from a physical attacker steel pokemon

This nuzlocke has something to it that I feel a ton of nuzlocke tubers don't: passion. Like you said, it's all RNG and data sets to people that pump out "EMERALD HC NUZLOCKE #33 PART 17" nowadays, but this is different. You used the nicknames you gave your team members in narration, you fired from the hip the whole time, and you also made criminal slips that no sane (or sober) person would. This isn't a spreadsheet nerd's perfectly calculated run. You've made something that made at least one person watching feel something.

This is certifiably human content, and I'm a huge fan of that kind of thing!

You call it challenge, I call it Tuesday

Getting female Combee encounter in a Platinum nuzlocke encounter is always hype for a few seconds… and then you remember that’s still just a Vespiquen

Very glad he didn't win the first run or every pokémon would be named some variant of Joe Rogan

@jadon1400 1 year ago

I don't encourage drinking, but I do encourage the creativity and willpower it took to win that ending

they're calling him clean up clammy

Bro when I saw that Clammy had Shell Armor I instantly sighed in relief because I KNEW. I KNEW BRO WAS GONNA SAVE THE RUN.

0:22 fuckin facts bro. I’m all for people playing games how they want to but everytime I see someone trying the game out for the first time it’s always a friend guiding them through a nuzlocke challenge for their first playthrough and I’d much rather see them play the game how we all experienced them for the first time
