Bangkok is one of those cities I can visit again and again and still discover something completely new.
For this full documentary, I spent four days exploring Bangkok through its food, markets, old neighborhoods, family-run restaurants and the people keeping these traditions alive.
From the historic streets of Talat Noi and Chinatown to a rare countryside chicken-cooking technique, a full day eating with Chef Andrew Martin, and a morning market that starts at 5 AM—this journey showed me a completely different side of Bangkok.

🔥 DAY 2 — UNCLE PEEN’S HAY-ROASTED CHICKEN
I traveled outside Bangkok with my good friend Gary Butler to meet Uncle Peen, a local legend known for one of Thailand’s rarest chicken-cooking techniques.
The whole chicken is suspended inside a metal drum while burning rice straw creates the smoke and gentle heat that slowly roast it. The result is beautifully golden skin with incredibly juicy meat.
