People in the comments saying England got lucky , well let me tell you you make your own luck and the harder you train the luckier you get.
congratz to England

From a Scot, I'm delighted. Well done England.   🎉🎉🎉

Well done Lionesses, You have done your country proud AGAIN!

Jess carter  was great defending tonight,  after all she had to deal with this last week . Thank you jess 👋👋👋

Well done England im so proud of your victory by mary ❤

England women just beat World Champions Spain to winl the Euros Final. This is massive.

MASSIVE RESPECT TO MR IAN WRIGHT WHO IS ALWAYS RIGHT ON THE NIGHT

She goes under appreciated almost every time, but Lauren Hemp was immense. ❤ She deserves more praise and recognition, she’s been injured for so long and played like she hadn’t been away. Her determination and drive as well. 🎉

stayed relatively injury free, rode their luck, kept games tight, stuck to the plan, used the bench to cease the initiative, excellent

Best celebrations ever.

For goodness sake, ITV give us a break from all these ads.

I'm a Chelsea fan, this reminds me of the 2012 CL Trophy win, we had bags of luck but we also put in the work...That Schweinsteiger penalty that hit the bar at one end, went over to the other side and still didn't cross the line, JT getting sent off, that Ramirez lob, That bullet header from Drogba to send the final game to extra time, Juan Mata missed his pen.....then Drogba stepped up to take his..I still get chills to this day. Previous year, a slip from the penalty spot is what denied us the win.

Oh I forgot the win at Barca, when Torres rounded the keeper, we were getting hammered by Barca, it was unbelievable! but we still beat them.

ENGLISH & PROUD

Leah Williamson said in her press conference before the final. it’s not how you start it’s how you finish. I certainly agreed with what she said and England found a way to win the game by the scruff of their neck and winning it on penalties. Yes people are always going say “oh England got very lucky didn’t play that well”. Who cares as long they get it over the line. 😂

I’m so proud of these girls.
Carter was immense
Greenwood as classy as ever
Bronze is not human
Hampton’s a hero
Russo is an absolute workhorse
Hemp is simply world class
And who else would you want taking the deciding penalty?
I could go on all day

Congrats England and Spain. Tough game for both teams. There are a lot of people saying that England were second best/Spain were better. This is football - to win you have to stick out the full 90 - 120 minutes. The better team always wins. Whilst it may not have been the cleanest win England had the ability as well as the mental to dig deep enough to win. Spain will learn from this and find what they were lacking today and come back stronger. They'll be a force in the years to come.

Carney was super confident before the match and was correct.

what a game that was the cup is back Home  in England love it well done Lionesses we where all behind you all the way
