Something important to note.

The games have massive gaps in the information you can get from them. Subsequently, every video like this that you find WILL be running with their own interpretations, because a lot of stuff we get is lacking in context or often, lacking in pin-pointing exactly when it happens. So if you ever check more like this from other sources, like the Game Theory ones, keep in mind a lot of broad details will be the same but the details may differ a lot.

For example, there ARE books and short stories related to the series, but whether they matter for deciphering the game's story depends on who you ask.

I never knew this game had such insane lore 😭, is there anything else you guys would recommend I watch about FNAF?

1:15:00

No,  the games do have ALOT of information packed in, most of this is from the games, extra details and names are from books. But the games dont spell it out blatently they do have alot of info inside.

Henrys speech goes SO FUCKING HARD

Thats from the actual game

If you enjoyed this video... You'll enjoy the game theory ones too. There's a reason we called it Mattpat insanity simulator so fondly :v

Like Afton said "I Always come back"

19:03 afton: henry listen.. im bored so i have no choice but to kill your daughter

1:09:45 Gaslit into the afterlife is a crazy statement 😂

1:01:10 Okay, so in answer to this, as with most things FNaF, the answer is mostly a mystery to anyone outside of Scott Cawthorn. but due to the many properties of remnant, one of which being in the books that it has healing properties, there is a theory that Michael's body managed to do some damage repair in the years after being scooped, as the scooper also served as a remnant injector. some people theorise that he remained a purple, rotten zombie entirely, some think his body managed to fully repair itself, outside of the missing organs, and some, myself included, think that his body managed to somewhat fix itself, but some evidence of injury remained

long story short- michael's purple rating varies depending on personal preference to the lore

1:08:06 Williams face after Henry said "although for one of you", William was like "Wait What?!", priceless. 😂

1:13:08 Yes, this video only goes over the first 7 FNAF games, also known as the Scott Cawthon Era, and does tackle games 8-13 and onward, also known as the Steel Wool Era.
The main difference is that the first 7 were made by basically one guy, Scott Cawthon (minus Voice Actors and a Musition starting from the 5th game onward)
While the 8th game and onward is being developed by a whole team that Scott gave the game rights of the franchise too, while still being an oversear of the projects.
FNAF is ultimately one mans love child, originally made as one last game from a failing solo indi dev, fuiled by the critisisms of a mans 3D modeling skills, sparked into a fanamina, spanding 13 mainline games (with 2 more coming out this/and or/ next year), countless books, and even 2 (soon to be 3) movies.

I still can't believe how far we've gotten. 2014, I was in middle school, watching Markiplier and Jacksepticeye scream their lungs out from jumpscares. 2026, we find out that a real Freddy Fazbear's Pizza is opening in New Jersey next year. 12 years... Man, I feel old.

FNaF lore is so funny because the moment you start to use logic to make sense of it, it just starts to fall apart at the seams lol, it becomes the "Suspend your disbelief" Olympics, so it's a lot better as an isolated story and leaving it mostly to your own personal theory crafting based on what we do know of it, kind of like a creepypasta.

You should watch Pheydens video on the lore it at least to me sounds more concise and understandable with the missing kids.

mind you the eternal hell cassidy had made william afton go thorugh was not known by the fans at the time. it was more of a challenge run on how many animitronics can you add with icreasing thier difficulty, kind of like a survival minigame at the end of each normal FNAF after the "5 nights", totaling 59 individual characters with gimmiks to survive from. It was only the deaths from each animatronic gave out some small details in thier dialogue people were able to pick apart. Its one thing about the lore people pick apart but the best part is finding it and trying to make sense of whats going on

the thing is, this story portrays Henry as someone who was twiddling their thumbs for decades. his first entry chronologically was burning all them at the end. the rest of the story was giving backstory as to why this individual walked in and stole the show in the best way possible.

1:14:50 people argue about the books being cannon or not to the story, so most of these theories and timelines are just from the games

There are books, Silver Eyes as one of them, I have it and I highly recommend it for its a great read

Not even Scott knows what the story will be
He openly admits he was making up the story as he went

Like the locked box. Scott says what he had planned to be inside the box was constantly changing

My personal opinion is that Henry was out of the picture for awhile because he was very depressed about Charlie dying, so he just didn't want anything to do with disapearences and stuff...and in his first speech, he obviously sounds like he regrets doing that and decides to put an end to it to save them and plus to redeem himself.

I also cry like a bitch every time i hear his speech in fnaf 6 💔 yeh i admit it💀👍😭
