Death, Taxes, 7-6 Isner.

Damn this might be one of the best non atp matches on YouTube. John’s still got it. I think the only right thing following this would be a Stevie J rematch, jack sock match, or a Roddick match if one viewer could dream.

Story of John Isner's  life, a mini break in a tie break.

It's actually more fun to watch than most ATP1000 final matches

Bro, Isner had more aces than second serves. Unreal serving

"I think I'm holding up serve against Sinner right there!" 😅💪

Those people on the other courts probably had no idea they were in the presence of the lord of all servebots

This was awesome. A few of Isner’s first serves down the T were bouncing above Karue’s shoulder. Ridiculous!

What a great match.  Isner's ball sounds like an explosion on the serve.  The fact that you hung in there with him was fantastic.

Even his youtube set going to TB is such a john isner thing. Great match

Why was I not surprised?! 😅 No one breaks Isner, and Isner breaks no one. John is the king of the 7-6, 6-7, 7-6 match.

The way Isner counts all the aces and keeps track of how he's doing is an eye opener. Most of us just go out and hit.

John amazing player for 208cm 😮 truly great player 16 titles is no joke played in strongest era of players!  Great great guy

bro this is PEAK entertainment on youtube. keep this shit going!

John's serve just isn't fair, and he's still got it. Movement especially to the forehand side is a problem, but that serve is still massive.

My eyes can't even process how fast those serves were...excellent video especially the court level shots 15:00

once a serve bot, always a serve bot

21:27 ....classic undersell...if my count was correct, i think he was either 32 for 35 (91.4%) or 31 for 35 (88.6%). Also, I've always been curious if JI's groundstrokes come off at a different angle or a slightly different spin than other players shorter on tour. I always felt like his opponents had trouble squaring up and getting clean looks once getting into 3-5+ shot rallies. Could have also been a little bit of pressure at play due to feeling like they had to play a little more conservative once getting into points...a 'finally this is my chance!' so they tried to avoid forced errors in rallies. Fun match-up for sure.

Watching Isner serve is thrilling, in low-to-moderate doses. It always got boring during a full match, but in a format like this it's a lot of fun. The way he could and still can serve not just with inhuman speed, but at the same time incredible precision, and on top of that a very low error rate, nobody else ever came close. Shelton hits it hard but with poor placement, and he tends to cluster his serve errors, so he gets broken a lot.

Great playing! Just goes to show how important a really good serve is. No matter how well you return, great serving will beat great returning 90% of the time. And John's level really hasn't dropped off nearly as much as Sam. But it seems John plays more so that makes sense. But geez, the margins are so small. I find it flabbergasting how quickly you reacted to John's serve and how many returns you made. Again, great playing!
