Why did the shepherd abuse Umar (RA) | Biography of Hazrat Umar (RA) | Islamic Stories | Sirat Speaker

This video highlights the heart-warming story of Hazrat Umar (RA) and a poor shepherd. Although Hazrat Umar (RA) in disguise tested the shepherd in various ways, he refused to give a drop of milk without the permission of his owner out of fear of Allah. Even when he went to a secluded cave, he reminded himself that Allah sees everything even when people do not see him. Later, the shepherd came to know that the one he thought was an ordinary traveler was the Caliph Hazrat Umar (RA). This instructive story highlights the importance of trustworthiness, honesty, fear of Allah, piety and strong faith, and the beautiful lesson that the true dignity of a person is not in wealth or clothes, but in character and faith.
