You missed one. You. The coolest cat around.

No ocelot pride? that's surprising

You are speaking my language brother. My cat typal Nethroi, Apex of Death deck salutes you 🫡

Illusory Ambusher is such a rad card, and exactly the kind of sneaky card I love. That cat never got to surprise an attacker in my hands... yet.

Serpopard is likely a portmanteau of "Serpent" and "Leopard"....which tracks considering it's snake cat.
Still a cool name though.^^

Likely on account of him being a Selesnya +1/+1 counter commander.
There are TONS of selesnya or selesnya adjacent commanders that care about +1/+1 counters .
Sovereign Okinec Ahau's ability LOOKS scary but any +1/+1 counters deck will be putting so many +1/+1 counters on their creatures that it largely won't matter.
All Okinec's ability does is move the bar from "ludicrous" to "plaid" (kudos to anyone who gets THAT reference).^^

That accent was fire. Im impressed

Love cats I'll just shoutout Cauldron Familiar cause it does everything I want it to do

Glad you brought up Sovereign Okinec Ahau, but another cat in a similar vein is Kutzil, Malamet Explorer.  It stops your opponents form casting spells on your turn, and grants you card draw if the creatures you're hitting with have higher stats than their base P/T.  Good vid, and I love the idea of setting the threshold for cards over and under a dollar.

Fun fact,
the figure on the back of Mischievous Catgeist is playing Cat's Cradle.^^

Haven't got very far on it yet, but I do have an idea of sorts for Hungry Lynx.
An off color cat tribal (probably abzan) revolving chiefly around Hungry Lynx and Warehouse Tabby to make rats and then sac them to make all my cats bigger.

Why is king of the pride not in this

Banger

Before my parents threw my 1st collection out, I had over 200 Pouncing Jaguars. Sad flex I know

Using Illusory Ambusher as a surprise blocker to draw a handful of cards isn't bad but there's much better uses for it.
Where THIS cat really shines is in a pinger deck.
Give him indestructible and then you hit him with YOUR Prodigal Sorcerers and suchlike to turn him into a card drawing machine.
Note that the words "opponent" or "combat" appear nowhere on the card.^^

One of my recent favorite Cat commander is Kros, Defense contractor. Really fun and janky group hug/group slug commander that works wonders with the likes of Sheltering ancient and Generous patron. Highly recommend

lol personal fun fact, i got 15 cats and 1 dog, im a vet, and the cat decks that i've made so far are: Rin and Seri, Lurrus, Jinnie Fae, Jetmir, new Arahbo, First Fang, Selesnya Mirri, seeking out to make Marisi, but knowing that my biggest recommendation is on Jinnie Fae, she got the best replacement token effect i know, u just load with tokens that make sense and cats, u will be smashing faces so early and the huge ability to rebuild after a boardwipe is insaneeee, u dont need to be to greedy on price cards with the token makers. Looking for pure value Mirri and Lupus are certainly the go to Opressive cats on the command zone :P (just want to flood the board with different and pretty looking foil cats?New mono white Arahbo def the way😉😉)

How are you gonna not include ocelot pride

My boyfriend got me to play magic but it's the cat cards that made me stick around. Nine Lives Familiar is best cat. Especially in my Totentanz deck, nothing like cat making a ton of rats.

I WOULD pick up a copy of Scythecat Cub but.... it's currently running $31.><
