Travel to medieval Europe and discover what life was really like inside castles: a world of power, strict hierarchies, lavish banquets… and the constant threat of war.

With the help of visual reconstructions, we explore the daily lives of nobles and serfs who lived together behind stone walls: from the luxurious halls where political decisions were made, to the smoke-filled kitchens and courtyards where artisans and servants worked.

Discover how feudal lords slept, what they ate at banquets, how defenses were organized against attacks, and the role each member of the castle community played in times of peace and war.

Beyond the romantic image of knights and princesses, this documentary reveals the everyday reality: the cold rooms, the lack of modern hygiene, social tensions, and the constant fear of armed conflict.

A fascinating journey that will change the way you see medieval castles.
