Stickman Hogwarts

After the Battle of Hogwarts, everyone asks the same question: what happened next? What became of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley once the war ended? Where did Draco Malfoy go after the Dark Lord fell? And how did figures like Neville Longbottom, Luna Lovegood, and the Weasley family rebuild their lives in a Wizarding World finally free of Voldemort?

In this lesson, we uncover what happened to every wizard after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows—careers at the Ministry, unexpected life paths, new families, and the future of Hogwarts itself. Some stories ended quietly… others became far more interesting.

Fun fact for y'all. The Harry Potter movies started coming out before the books were finished, and after the first movie, Alan Rickman (RIP the GOAT) who played Snape, wanted to quit because he didn't like the character.

So JK Rowling spoiled the plot for Rickman alone, letting him know the details about Snape's backstory and what would happen to him in the future books, and that was why Rickman continued to play the role of Severus Snape throughout the rest of the movies.

Lucius Malloy avoiding Azkaban is kind of wild

The reason why Harry was the head of the Auror division at such a young age is because Voldemort killed all of the senior Aurors. There was literally nobody left. Kingsley had to start the whole division back up from scratch.

George also dyed his hair because looking in the mirror reminded him of his brother.

I love and admire McGonnagal...The actress who portrayed her was magnificent.

I can't be the only one disappointed that Umbridge ended up in Azkaban after the dementors were removed. While I normally wouldn't approve of such torture, she's one of the few exceptions of that rule

I feel kinda bad for Draco, hearing his wife died.

Dumbledore was the one guy who said he wasn't totally corrupted.

Look at his parents!

I'd like to think Seamus Finnigan would be a product consultant for Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, considering his propinquity for explosives, knowing how to make them explosively harmless.

Kingsley should have a couple of Dementors for Umbridges cell, making sure they're contained within cell too. A constant 24/7 presence.

Don't forget Umbridge broke out of Azkaban, caused significant damage to the Ministry, and almost used a time turner to bring back Voldemort, thankfully the trio was still around to stop her just in time

Under Hagrid’s entry, you mention creatures that should not be near a school, and show a picture of Fang, he’s harmless, and doesn’t deserve such slander.

dolores umbridge saying she was following ministry policy has the same sense as the nazis at nuremberg saying they were just following orders

Neville had the best character arc EVER not just in Harry Potter

it urked me that in the movies they barely mentioned charlie weasley, aka the 7th weasley kid that ended up working with dragons in romania but in the books he did in fact do things, in the movies he was just a mentioned character twice at the most (?) still love reading and watching things harry potter related frequently as it's just a great series. ^_^

I imagine Arther made a recording of centaur hooves in a loop for her cell

Umbridge attended Dumbledore’s funeral in the book. Before Voldemort was disposed of.

Gotta love the way the Slytherins who fought against Voldemort either died horribly or lost their families, while the Malfoys did just fine. I bet no Slytherin in the next war is going to fight on the Gryffindor side for any reason at all.

That was a very good synopsis of the "later years" of the Characters. Very informative and entertaining. I remember finding the Harry Potter Lexicon and was amazed at the sheer amount of information they were able to collect even back then.

Bill Weasley also went a did a short stint as a general for a galactic confederates, while Arthur went gallivanting as a nosy village priest that solves crime.
