The Bookman scene I think is my all-time favourite Seinfeld scene. Philip Baker Hall, who played Mr. Bookman, the library cop, was a well-known dramatic actor doing mostly movies like The Talented Mr Riley.

He called his wife after the audition to say he was sure he got the part even though there’s no sure things in acting. He thought it was pretty sure because Jerry and everyone else in the room couldn’t stop laughing all the way through the audition.

After he did that role on Seinfeld, he said he rarely had to audition for a part anymore because people knew he had the range to do whatever they needed him to do.

Great actor who passed in 2022.

The car was meant to start in the parking lot,
but it wouldn't - you can see them all laughing inside.
It was a blooper, and the perfect ending, and they kept it.

Three blissful hours of Leo vs Seinfeld...I'm here for it! It actually started getting good midway through Season 2 when you could see the cast starting to gel and the writing starting to find its footing. I don't remember what happened each season until we start watching, but I have no doubt S3 will be a riot and I'll remember lines of dialogue and side characters and...everything!

The joke at the end of the Babu Cafe episode is he said “you know what would be great?” Implying because they each want different foods a place with all different cuisines like Babu had before Jerry convinced him to retool to Pakistani only.

STELLLLLA is from the movie A Streetcar Named Desire. This show never gets old. Can’t wait for the next installment.

2:14:21 this episode "The Stranded" was aired during season 3's original run, but was actually filmed originally during season 2. It was originally discarded because Larry David didn't like the episode. For whatever reason, NBC decided to air this episode during season 3. You'll notice a continuity "error" in this episode, which is that George has a job in this episode, which is the real estate job from which he quit. In it's original airing before the start of the episode, there was a brief video with Jerry Seinfeld explaining to the audience at home that this episode was originally taped for season two citing that George is unemployed in season 3 but has a job in this episode and ends the video with "we know that you know."
