River monsters ended for a much sadder reason. The rivers were and are dying, which Jeremy wanted to show, but the corpos said, "People don't want to watch that." He also admitted the show was contributing to the death of those monster size fish because people saw what Jeremy was catching and then wanted a trophy of their own. Jeremy eventually got a show that focused on trying to show people what was happening to the worlds biggest rivers, but that show was nowhere near as popular as river monsters. The before and after shots of these rivers are super depressing. They quite literally are dying. Massive drops in water level, severe over fishing, and catastrophic levels of pollution. This all is what Jeremy said himself on why the show ended. He couldn't keep lying to the world about the state of these rivers, and he actually partly regrets making the show.

Yo just letting yall know, kissing bugs can be found everywhere in except for the far north of the USA, so keep an eye out for cone heads, thin legs, dark bodies, and folded wings.

Jaguars used to range as far north as the Midwest and Pennsylvania.  Human activity from both Native Americans and European settlers drove them to the Southwest, with the last Arizona jaguar being killed in the 1920s.  The first jaguar to be spotted back in the US was a male nicknamed El Jeffe who was spotted on game trail cameras in Arizona in 2011, and since then more have been migrating into New Mexico and Texas.

15:16 Thanks you brought Goth lamias to my mind and I HAVE A MIGHTY NEED NOW.

Sadly, jaguars are already critically endangered in biomes like the Atlantic Forest in Brazil. Poaching and the lack of prey due to illegal hunting are driving them to the edge. Such a tragic reality for our biodiversity.

To make matters worse, research shows that even attempts to reintroduce captive jaguars back into the wild completely fail, as they lose their fear of humans and end up being killed by poachers or farmers. Protecting their natural habitat is our only real hope.

28:40 This dude's story sounds just like the guys who claim that the shampoo bottle got stuck because they fell on it while taking a shower. In other words, I'm pretty damn sure he was sticking a candiru somewhere nobody has any business sticking anything, and then when the inevitable consequences of his poor life choices became evident, he made up a story about how the fish ended up where it was, because nobody wants to admit to doing something that stupid to the ER staff; I honestly can't think of any other plausible way something like that could have happened.

37:10 Not only did he get bit by one, but to my knowledge its the only video he made where the bite was so painful he told his production crew to cut the cameras and start anti-venom treatment, as the bite was so painful it wasnt worth the content.

9:26 How did bro's chat get Uncensored?!!!

2:27 Ok ok. So... it's not aguara. Aguara is a fox and that certainly isn't one.

The word they were looking for is yaguareté. It does mean what he said though... big majestuous cat with big fangs and claws.

Me and my friend joke that the Amazon is honestly the closest thing to an alien planet we will get. As a brasilian even with the wide amount of different biomes we have the Amazons are something else.
Also about the Kissing Bug, it is not only on the Amazon and I have a fear of this bitch since my childhood, it is said that chagas disease makes your heart grow larger and damage itself due to it.

The whole "rats walking on soda cans" thing doesn't seem likely. I used to work for Keurig Dr. Pepper, and the cans aren't just like sitting around loose somewhere to be exposed to rats. They are packaged either in their cardboard case or shrink-wrap with a cardboard flat under them. Then the whole pallet is wrapped for shipping. Maybe once they're in the store if there is back-stock of partial cases in the back room? Every store I worked at was meticulous about pest control though because they don't want fines.

I'm a Brazilian human watching an unitedstadian octopus watching an  human man talking about Brazilian animals. ❤

As a brazillian I must deffend my beloved amazon forest
We don't have flying spiders
That's it, we win

and the fun thing about brown recluse spiders is they enjoy hiding in dark crevices (thus the "recluse" part of their name). and they aren't particularly picky about what crevice they hide in. your clothes in your closet or your shoes are some of their favorite places to  hang out. so if you live in a place where brown recluses tend to be, you have to habitually shake out your clothes and shoes before putting them on. I grew up in a place with them and even though I saw many many hundreds of them over the years, I've never been bit so far. but their bite can potentially be very nasty. it basically causes necrosis of your flesh around the bite if you dont get to a doctor or hospital in time.

I never found a spider in bananas, but I found a frog. It lived too.

35:15 Either she legitimately didn't know and this was a hilarious accident, or she did know and followed through with amazing acting abilities. It's comedy gold either way.

24:39 yes, as a brazilian man, i can confirm that said statement is true

Australia would be like a WOW instance and the Amazon Rain Forest would be a massive raid.

10:45 the zoo near me actually has a giant anteater in the same pen as the gorillas the help with termites, ants, and such. And, although there are no instances of getting into fights, the gorillas stay at the opposite end of the exhibit from the anteater. No joke.
