Customer was told his car was fixed after having warranty work carried out.
After picking it up, something still didn’t feel right — so he called me out to have a proper look.
The warranty work had been completed, but the front brake pads and rotors that were paid for were never replaced, despite being charged for them. I go through everything, verify what was and wasn’t done, and get the vehicle sorted properly in the end.
This is a good example of why it’s always worth checking the work, even when you’re told it’s been done.

I have absolutely no trust in dealerships. They are money making factories preying on unsuspecting victims. I really hope the customer was reimbursed. Love your videos.

Several years ago, I bought a new front tyre for my motorcycle, at a local motorcycle service centre. They had 2 mechanics. One changed the tyre & refitted the wheel. I reckon dealerships try to pump so many vehicles through a day stuff gets missed, office don’t fill out job cards, mechanics rushing. Good one mate 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 I reckon them great walls look good value be definitely looking at one of them for Mrs next vehicle

I use the terminology of near side (kerb) and off side when referring to left hand or right hand side.

A great trip I was tought, when pushing the calliper pistons back, crack the bleed nipple with bleed hose atached, push back calliper pistons to get rid of the dirty break fluid. This stops contamination or the lines and cylinder.

With Bendix brake pads there is always an inner & outer that should have been said (I know from experience)

Shouldn’t appear on an invoice if the job work ticket and parts allocation ticket both signed off, appear at the desk to confirm for customer billing. I’m anticipating it’s don’t at a dealers maintenance shop, where they track workers job time and parts inventory. Can’t charge for work not done unless they are crooks at that particular place.
