For pros and vloggers will always evolve gear to optimise  workflow. But the footage is this video makes me adore the pocket 3 all over again

Waiting for the Pocket 4 to drop, so I can buy the Pocket 3 at a cheaper price.

I just bought a second Osmo Pocket 3 becaus they're absolutely amazing for blogging, timelapses, etc.  However I bought an Osmo Nano a month ago and it's THE tool that goes with me everywhere.  Video quality, especially with the firmware update, is nearly if not as good as the Action 5 Pro that I own, and portability is essential.  I put it on my ballcap, on the magnet on my chest, or just hold it by hand.  So easy to use and no reason to leave it at home.

Most of the time, I either use the DJI nano, or action 5. but whenever we go out. I bring the pocket 3 as well. I just use it for casual B-rolls. I just find that removing it from the case, flipping the screen, unflipping it, and putting it back is a lot of work. When you are just talking outside, vlogging, shooting your face, the quality of the action cameras are actually really good, and viewers doesn't really care much about the quality. They care more about the message.

Full of wisdom as always. I think the Pocket 3 on a stick when walking and talking can help overcome some issues with it having too narrow a FOV and it reduces the out of focus-ness of the background, but who wants to carry a stick, and be seen using it? But I am actually puzzled about the whole vlogging thing. YouTube is full of people showing how the do it and reccomending  equipment etc, but very little actual vlogs seem to be around. Or maybe I watch the wrong channels.

Much of what you said resonates with me.  I got the Pocket 3 for vlogging but in situations containing fishing so the content contains both talking head and action scenes.  The lack of water sealing was and is still an issue.  The shallow DOF is nice, but there were times when in talking head shots, I was talking about the things going on behind me, which were blurred out.  I have to use ND filters but you cant stack them with a wide-angle lens so I loose that kind of shot.  I shoot long videos but the Pocket 3 will not detect a power bank plugged into it so will run its own battery down to nothing.  You must wait till its 50% down then plug in a power bank for it to charge it back up, but then the cycle continues.  I use the Action 4 more these days for them last-minute sessions, quick grab-and-go.  The only down side to the Action 4 for me is night shooting, and lack of tracking which I do use alot on the Pocket 3.   I hope the 360 cameras will get them 16k setups sooner than later and a true 1" sensor, maybe the Pocket 4 with have some rain proofing, but not seen any leaks on that one, excuse the pun.

Just ordered the DJI Action 6 and I’m honestly excited to get back to vlogging with a more “traditional” action cam after almost two years on the Pocket 3. The Pocket 3 is amazing, don’t get me wrong... I still use it a lot for work, especially for real estate and those cinematic shots where nothing else comes close. But man… for everyday vlogging, nothing can beat the convenience and freedom of a good action cam. Can’t wait to use it again.

I use my channel for travel videos. I just upgraded the Action 3 to Action 6 because it's close enough to the Pocket 3 for rainy weather, especially in low light. Keep up the great work. Cheers from Montreal Canada. 🇨🇦💪

I use the pocket 3 just occasionally now, I can’t risk the wet, the rough and tough of work and sawdust getting in.
Action 4 every day.

10:50 WEATHER SEALING!........ Absolutely! I have two broken pocket cameras! One from an exploding soda can in my backpack and the second was filming on the beach and unglued something in the screen and now it open on a diagonal😢 DJI, I would be the first to order the next version of the pocket camp if these concerns are addressed! No problems with my gimbal, action 4, or drone!

I use it as a webcam. 90% of the time I wish I have a zoom for those far shots that I don't want to have. Otherwise, it's basically the best shooter that you can have in your pocket. What I wish it has is a 3x zoom, a 360° gimbal mode and , here's the catcher, a folded mode so it can be the same size but bigger battery, better handle, and a folded camera mode.

Pocket cameras from Dji is one of the camera I always wanted to have, since pocket 1. I bought one only when released the pocket 3 and after one year using I realised that I don't needed this camera and I sold for an Action camera and I'll not buy the Pocket 4, just because one particular thing... fragility. An equipment that makes me affraid to use is not made for me.

I use pocket 3 for cinematic shots close up shots and few 2x zoom shots, for wide angle I use other cameras. Tracking feature I use if it involves less movement not any sudden movements
