If you work with kids, you know that managing a room full of children can be… difficult. 😂
In Part 2 of my conversation with my little sister, Michal Ruiz, we’re getting practical!
Michal has been a 1st grade teacher for five years, and she’s sharing some of the classroom management lessons she’s learned along the way. We talk about what actually works with kids, how teachers set expectations, how to respond to challenging behavior, and what kids ministry leaders can take from the classroom.
Even though these tips come from a 1st grade classroom, so much of this applies to Sunday school, kids church, small groups, and any environment where adults are leading children.
If you serve in kids ministry, grab a notebook—you might want to steal a few of these ideas. 😉
And if you haven't watched Part 1 yet, go check that one out first to hear Michal's story and get to know the person behind these practical teaching tips.
