People love to sht on Nintendo for those download only cartridges. Then Sony announced they're killing disks. Lol. I'm not a Nintendo fanboy, but if I'm not mistaken, you can still sell those download only cartridges. The cartridge is like a physical license. The way I see it is Nintendo wanted Switch 1 owners to migrate or still use their own games onto the Switch 2 than make a new cartridge system with bigger memory outright.

I love when they, and companies like CDPR, put out "complete" editions of games fully on cart. Fully DRM free offline installers ala GOG on the digital side would be ideal, but since that's never happening on the console side probably, I will take this happily in the absence of that.

I still remember when other games were going with disks and nintendo stayed with cartridges. I like that nintendo focuses on their own thing.

Those preorder items for the OOT remake are outside of the US sadly.

The US get jack all. -_-

I haven't owned a Nintendo since the 64 but my next gaming system might have to be a Nintendo. I hope their next console isn't a handheld.
This would be the time to get back into that market.
