My cat has been my little voidling shadow all day, and passed some of the tests, she even got a surprise visit with her grandpa.
As for why Gary passed more of the tests than Kurt, my guess is it's because Kurt views you as his parent, but since he's older, he's showing you that you did a good job raising a mature adult cat XD.

Since Gary is Siamese, they tend to bind to their humans more than some other cat breeds. They talk a lot but they want to be doing what you are doing. And my Siamese meows but also communicates non verbally. Kurt is totally attached to you. So I wouldn’t worry that it seemed he didn’t do all the activities mentioned on that list. The nibble I think they mean is when first example my cat gets happy then nips my legs while head butting. Or she will grab my hand and try to give me a love bite. My lynxpoint Siamese barely audibly purrs. It’s gotten louder over the years but her purr is pretty quiet. No doubt tho, your boys love you so much.

Kurt & Gary do think of you as their MoM. They both love & adore you& your wife. Kurt is doing his orange cat behavior, you know; he decides if & when he'll do as you want. He's intelligent, charismatic& he's the top cat. LOL.!!! I adore orange cats, our Heathcliff was an orange cat. We lost him about 4yrs ago, he was 12 yrs old.
