Great video. Stopped me pulling all me hair out.

Great video on how to rig the winch lines!  Thank you!

Congratulations on your production Gary! Beautiful craftsmanship as well!

I was particularly hoping for this one. Thanks.

I wish I could personally give this 1000 likes. You answered a question I’ve had for a long time: how do you keep the winch lines taught? This is genius! I’d only just asked this exact question on a previous video then YouTube suggested this video to me! Your video was clear and concise. I am indebted to you. I don’t know any other sailors so this question remained unanswered for a long time. Thank you!!!

Thank you.

Outstanding….thank you….happy Christmas to you and yours

Very useful and clear, thanks. I'm currently refurbishing a "vintage" 36R and it's the first time I've used a sail winch.
EDIT Just got the sail winch set up and working!

Oh so nice... thanks for showing your awesome boat!!

inspirational sir.

Thank you so much for sharing this knowledge
You're awesome 🥰

A word of caution. If you haven't set up a winch before DON'T screw down the drum to the servo. This way if you get mixed up the drum is ripped off the winch without burning out the winch motor. A great video with good clear explanations .

Very informative thank you

Thank you. As I am in the planning stages of building an RC sailboat this is very helpful, as are all your videos.

Once again Gary another life saving video, thankyou so much 👍👍👍👍👍

Performing this operation on my "Flyer" today!

that is great work Mr. Gary I hope to find datasets about beast sail angle deboned on the direction of the wind and voyage.

Great stuff….. thank you

Great video!
