I loved the Owens albums with Judas Priest

The choices of Blaze and Annete baffled me the most.

If you even say Tim Ripper Owens was a bad 'replacement' for Halford then you're an idiot.

What is timming?

The Juggulator album was actually my first real introduction to Judas Priest, and it was kick ass enough that I went back through their legendary catalog and fell in love. So while perhaps not the best stuff under the Judas Priest label, standing on its own, and if it were a band with a different name, it's very impressive.

Ripper was and still is a Beast!

I remember when Jugulator came out, it was 11 days before my 18th birthday so I knew I was getting it as a present. In my birthday party we listened to it. Us that were more into the extreme side of metal, like thrash or its children genres (like death or black) loved it but those that were more into power metal didn’t like it at all. Regardless, everyone was impressed with Owens and his range. It was the musical direction that made Owens era controversial, not his voice. He was as good as it relationally got to replacing a god like halford.

Virtual XI is crap, but X-Factor is genuinely a great album and it completely matches Blaze's style. I'd put this well above the likes of Fear of the Dark, No Prayer, even Killers tbh.

And yeah for Jugulator and Demolition: for their current tour, the have a huge banner that covers the stage with a photo of every album they released except those two. I don't think those albums are particularly bad.. I think Point of Entry is weaker.

Blaze Bayley never had a chance. No one could replace Bruce, from his voice to his theatrics. Blaze's work with Wolfsbane is still a fun listen, and his later solo work really shows what he's capable of doing. (Blaze himself has stated he has a better mastery of his voice in later years than when he was with Maiden. [See 'Blood Brothers' video with Thomas Zwijson]) I don't think it's any lack of talent on Blaze's part. Besides, without Blaze during those five years, Maiden might have folded. He helped get them through a rough time for metal in general.

Honestly Jason Newstead was a big force why Metallica was able to continue. Losing Cliff slowed them and had Cliff not died they would have blown up just as big but they owe what they became to Jason. Robert is now slouch and he is continuing to be a driving force but I think they should have kept Jason and I know it's hard to get over losing your best friend and a founding bandmate that got you on the radar but they should have accepted the fact that Jason was meant to be.

By the way, it's RoNNie James Dio... not Robbie.

VH with Cherone...Yes. I do like Extreme though. Songs were pretty bad though.

Should have covered Motley Crue when the had the Vince Neil John Corabi swap and Mick Mars John 5

Blaze is a great singer and I love The X Factor and Virtual XI

How about Arch Enemy line up?

На привьюшке увидав Van HaLLEn, сразу понял, что видео от человека "в теме"... :))))

I still listen to Jugulator and Demolition. Ripper is a great singer.

ジューダス・プリーストのリッパーはもっと評価されるべき。歌唱力は今でも高い。復帰した時点のロブより高いと思う。フロントマンとしては完全にロブなんだけどね。どっちも好きだけどやっぱりロブの方が好きだわw

Worst lineup replacement.. Jason Newstead? Stop it. And Ripper Owens? They were actually damn good replacements.  The problem here is that the creator of this video cant think of enough examples to fill a video so he starts naming any replacement he can think of .

Rob Halford 😂
