Oh! Also honorary mention for me would be a coaster that was rough… but we liked it that way! And that was Wild Mouse 💔!

10:20 Grand National is, in my experience, two entirely different rides. The version where you sit in a front or back seat over a wheel axle, where your spine might leave your body, and a much more enjoyable ride where you sit on a middle seat which isn’t over a wheel axle. I read this point somewhere before I ever went on Grand National, but forgot when it came to boarding. My wife and I vowed to never ride it again, but I remembered the ‘non-wheeled seat’ tip and convinced her to try it again. A completely different experience. We absolutely loved it. Can’t believe the difference.

Agreed with everything else except from Colossus

The section after the Loop on Turbo at Brighton Pier is one of a kind rough.

Hi Chris another great watch. I don't get about as much as I did so I really enjoy your informative and honest opinions of some rides I know and have ridden and others that I know I'll never experience. Thank you and its good to see that number climb even if I find the counter distracting 😉

thanks so much for this

Whilst I agree with the Big One and Grand National, I do have them the other way around, but that’s probably because I’m the perfect height to crack my ribs on those awkward seat partitions at the bottom of the double-down. I can never breathe after that!

Completely agree with you about SAW the ride. I actively wanted the ride to finish it was so rough.

Ahh yes antelope was so so uncomfortable and I’ve never seen a more awful disabled entrance than with this coaster!
Basically go in the exit, which is a narrow walkway up the back of the coaster… but you’re in a wheelchair so people had to literally squeeze round me or I even lifted a few kids to their parents on the other side of me 😂 just… ridiculous!!
One and done! Never again! 😂

Great video and I agree with you on all.

Much respect for your channel, amd loving the amount of content you are creating, but I can't agree with the smiler being on the list. It's really only one jolt coming out of the 10th inversion, and it's really not that bad. The rest is great.

Love the thumbnail 😂

great video. Steeplechase at Blackpool Pleasure Beach has to be another terribly rough ride. It felt unsafe last time I rode it

@stephenbell6350 1 year ago

Really agree with the Smiler, felt like I was in a washing machine on it last summer😂

Great video! I'm on the fence with The Big One - it seems to depend on weather etc and if you get a day where the planets align it's a great ride.
I feel disloyal to the Grand National, but I really can't ride it anymore. It was always my favourite, and if ever asked I'd still have it in my Top 10 faves, but really it's the Grand National from 2013 that's on my list 😅

Totally agree Chris about Infusion cause I do come off it traumatised. I'd happily take a bulldozer to it. Its a shame about grand national which I agree with you also is really rough. I have spine and neck issues and can't really ride it anymore. I hope this maintenance it is getting really improves it cause it's a coaster I really enjoyed.

Unpopular opinion, but I massively prefer coasters with over the shoulder restraints. They just feel more comfortable and like there’s more holding me in. Granted, the only coaster on this list I’ve been on is Troublesome Trucks, and that was years ago so younger me probably didn’t notice the roughness. I just find lap bars worrying even if they’re safe. To me, over the shoulder restraints feel like a proper thrill ride.
