In the codes section in the HedgeModManager there are 2 codes which fix the air boost and stomp not resetting.
Located in the fixes/gameplay category on the codes tree.
You can also find plenty of physics based codes that gives Sonic more momentum when using things like the drop or spin dash.

Completely agree with Amy being incredibly fun to play as. My playtime since the update has completely ballooned with a vast majority of my playtime being spent as her. I constantly tested my own knowledge of her moveset just for the fun of it. Words really can’t justify how I feel about her gameplay.

Radical, you actually can turn the birthday hud off. Just go to Extras (or wherever you go to switch Sonic's cosmetics like his shoes) and you can turn it off from there.

I really hope the next sonic game builds off what frontiers started as far as gameplay goes, specifically Sonics control scheme. It felt really fun to run around the islands with him

these DLCs were definitely just sonic team going "fuck it" and trying out all the weird shit they could come up with and I am honestly all for it. there's definitely a lot of jank and numerous issues (not to mention SOMEONE at sonic team definitely had a grudge against us with this difficulty spike lmao), but overall it definitely leaves me hopeful for the next game and I'm definitely looking forward to see how they build off of all this going forward

You can tell by the lyrics of “I’m Here” that the “other story” DLC was the intended story of the game but they had to cut it for time

ROB @ 4:00 If you use the hedgehog manager it's actually a patch file in the settings in there for the boost and stomp reset. It's actually been there for a long time It doesn't prove the game by a lot along if fixing rotations jumps there's a lot of neat stuff in that would recommend!

This video revealed to me that Amy's wheel has Sonic-riders style drift boost chaining, where you go faster the more drift boosts you do back to back.

How I missed this I'll never know, but God, PLEASE Sega, a new Sonic Riders, I must have it.

A few things I need to say. 1: The perfect parry length isn’t changed in a major way in 30fps. 2: The perfect parry length is even lower in expert compared to hard. 3: The lookout kokos are used to open the trial towers. You just get so many when playing as Amy, Tails, and Knuckles that you don’t need to play Cyberspace.

One interesting thing about the birthday update for me is that the birthday holographics extend out into the space of a 21:9 aspect ratio if you decide to use a code in the hedgemod manager to allow the gave to use wider aspect ratios.
