I love it: they punish you for their bad game design. Very good said!

Rejections or Discouragements could be used as an antonym for Recommendations.

If you had Trudvang Legends in your short list it would have featured in almost every category.

Watching your playthroughs, I always feel like we align on what games we enjoy. But looking at this list, half of them are my favorites.😂

Aeon's trespass, Lands Of Evershade and Kings of Ruin best campaign games ever

I'm glad you did this video as I have been surprised by the omission of Primal from other content you've created. I think your criticism is fair even if it doesn't quite align with mine. Lately they have put out some free roguelike style mini campaigns for Primal and they have been a lot of fun. I've found it to be a much better format for the game that the 12 game campaign, with more freedom in builds between each hunt and more encouragement to experiment with different items based on the more limited scope of the monsters you encounter

I agree with you that builds in Primal as a campaign are too restrictive. As a one-shot game they are so good! I’m intrigued about the upcoming new product called Primal: Legends.

Perfect breakfast treat! Have a gorgeous day and thank you!
We love campaign games but I can confirm some of your picks :)

I'll write more later ... but have to do some work first :)

- Wise Wizards: Star Realms: I really love the app and the campaign scenarios work fairly well as single solo shots. I guess the table top campaign would be a nuisance to set up. And they still owe me the Hero Realms campaign I backed ages ago ...
- Time Stories ... the worst kind of direct repetition I ever encountered ... and this could have been so good just without the reiteration.

I like the reasoning behind your picks. I would put Agemonia in the worst item category, because we got overloaded with items and they were mostly meh and you forgot what you had. We were actually fearing getting more items during the game.

I agree with everything you said about Isofarian guard, but the story and combat itself were pretty good, but they totally ruined that by bad game design. It's like making a nice meal and forcing someone to eat it for a year straight. I wished tainted Grail had the combat of Isofarian guard, because I think it could shine if the fights were rare and meaningful. I did not care for the combat in tainted Grail, it was too disconnected from the main gameplay to me.

Oathsworn items worse than Gloomhaven? Hell no! I kinda agree with everything you said about Isofarian Guard. I sold my 1st edition because of the grind but i was playing solo, i then traded a Middara (1st act) for a 2nd edition and i´ve been playing it with a friend. Yeah the grind is still there but im enjoying it alot more because of company, its an atrocious solo game but pretty enjoyable at 2.

Man i love solomon kane

What's a problem with a picking a worst art design? You already have Arydia in list
