1. Blend in opposite direction
2. Don't add too much pressure
3. Shade from light to dark
4. Keep pencils sharp
5. Hold pencil further away from tip
6. Get smooth paper
7. She uses burnishing technique
8. Build layers slowly low pressure to high
9. When burnishing still go in circular motions
