The scene with the panties in the landlord’s mouth is taken out of context. The cat girls stuffed their underwear in his mouth while he was sleeping as a prank, you can even see the blueness in his face indicating that he’s suffocating.

He left this part out for good reason but she also keeps an "emergency pack" in her stomach that she can pull out with fishing line; she's too far gone to be saved😂

Bro the landlord is a phenomenal man in general, is he a gooner? Yes
But he'll go out of his way to help you

Lol, the landlord isn't what you think. He's actually a cool dude. He does the gooner stuff in his own privacy. I can respect that.

The landlord is an ethical gooner. No worries.

Don’t get it twisted about the landlord; Yes, dude is a gooner, but he mainly keeps all that to himself. Plus he goes out of his way to help the catgirls, he even offered Pen Pen a room to stay in despite knowing that she is basically homeless with no money to her name

The anime plays down the discrimination and problems the cat girls face. They CANNOT live normally. Their biology as aliens is such that they have an UNSTOPPABLE urge to give in to baser wants. They can fight it, but it NEVER goes away. That's why most of them choose a vice and live with it. And the depression from being discriminated against makes it even worse, which makes the discrimination worse, which makes the depression worse, etc etc. Society is more to blame for their vices than even their biology, because we can see from her sister that if society treats them right, they can escape their situation with enormous willpower.

Dude, the landlord is actually a good guy trust he's just a freak ok?😭 (this is coming from a person that's also a freak)

This anime actually helped me to stop drinking, literally like 2 or 3 weeks ago I watched it I literally was like you know what I think i'm gonna stop drinking so I havent drank for like 2 or 3 weeks I found something to replace it which is sparkling water because i still need that fizz😂😂😂

20:03 He's not, as someone who's watched the show he's just a nice guy, just because he be doing freaky thing in private doesn't mean he'll try anything on them.

This anime is actually kinda real as hell though. The beastfolk aren't legally able to work most jobs, and are stuck in poverty in redlined apartments, which drives them to vices.

Bruh pray for the landlord 😭😭😭 bro just tryna be a lil freaky on the side while giving ALL THESE CRAZIES somewhere to live

For context on why the landlord has panties in his mouth. The girls were partying and after drinking a lot, they thought it would be a good idea to mess with the landlord.

Chainsmoker Cat is a gross anime but its fun to watch too w video guys😂

This anime might become the most unhinged anime ever, and eventually become a PSA about the consequences of addiction, depression, etc.

26:50 The problem is withdrawal from some substances (alcohol in particular) can be so extreme that going cold turkey can be fatal. You have to gradually stop taking it.

3:58 it’s made to be like a PSA for smoking.

cant convince me the people shitting on the anime aren't getting a personal callout to their addictions, just saying

23:10 When submitted her request for a name (a name that would be added to her birth name, “Hameko Yurufuwa”) to the competent office she wrote “Hameko Yurufuwa*Angel”, but the clerk had no idea of how to interpret that asterisk and ultimately came up with that😂😂😂

32:20 They stuffed them in his mouth WITHOUT his consent while he was sleeping and he almost suffocated😅
