I think the addition of Alfie will benefit Willie the most

Matthews and Nylander mentors???? Now that is comedic gold.

I love the optimism that Pierre and Kyle provide.  The Leafs have a lot of potential and have strengthened their foundation from last season! 🍁

I think Pierre is pretty positive  supportive and encouraging  trying to bring out the best in players

Man, the insights I get from listening to both of you is unrivaled, your both the best.

I really enjoy your upfront honest opinion on the Maple Leafs and the Blue Jays, it is absolute a breath of fresh air compared to all the junk that we find on YouTube!!

Great show, guys. 👏🏼 Pierre is an absolute gentleman, and an encyclopedia of hockey; a master storyteller who in that regard reminds me of Buck ‘the F**k’ Martinez (and Navarro!), whose legendary baseball stories I could listen to in perpetuity (in addition to the fact his shock white salad is going to outlive the Sun). His boy, Barry Melrose, died today, so my condolences to him and to the Melrose family in particular. If there is a Heaven, Pat Burns is throttling Barry in an alley behind the Holy Frozen Pond, four gloves ‘yard-saled’ amidst their dancing feet; in the time-honoured Simpsonian tradition—Pat’s Homer to Barry’s Bart. Anyway, love the show and looking forward to watching/listening regularly.

Well said guys, interesting.👍

awesome show liked and subbed

Are you guys nuts ? As a ST holder, Willie had a fine season.   1.3 pts per game isn't too shabby.  His  + - was due to the team's overall play.  All you media guys were saying the Leafs are cooked for years after last season ended.  Hypocrites.   Undercover Leaf Trollers all of you.

I’m glad he decided to move in with the ODog

I agree with Pierre. The captain will right this ship. Mats’ presence will change how the players act on and off the ice.

Nylander has always floated defensively.  Occasionally he was benched or put on the fourth line when his defensive indifference became so glaring that it could not be ignored.  Usually, he was gifted easy match ups to reward his lack of effort.  Last year the Leafs were not able to shelter him and he got caved in.  If the Leafs can shelter him this year, he will look good.  If they can't... He will get caved in again.  I guess there is a chance he will suddenly start backchecking but it seems very unlikely given his age.

The Leafs with 3 number 1 draft picks on their roster should get an advantage but it'll come down to health and hard work

JT is All-Canadian, he knows how to form a team, giving Papi the C after his exceptional years was a class act. Let's watch him give credit where credit is due with Gavin and the rest on their way to the cup -while we can

It's like McGuire is in every podcast.

2 western road trips in he first month will help the team gel.

Nylander literally had the best PPG of his career. I understand the other issues, but to say its a difficult season because of off ice issues is comical. He had one issue - thats his groin. He would have hit 100 points if not for the injury (and re-injury)

I wouldn't be surprised Sundin get the team to toronto early

Something that is a bit annoying is that these two guys always agree on everything. You don’t have to always agree. We all have our own opinions. Let’s hear them.
