I'll be back in 4hrs cause im abt to watch it

Who would've thought that making a film with actual passion would result in apreciation by the fans?

It's so crazy to hear you mention Obsession amongst all these other big movies, I still can barely wrap my head around how big our movie got. My name is Casey Schoch, I was the 1st AC on the camera team for Obsession. We very intently lit things dark, pushed the Alexa 35's ISO down to 200 to get more dynamic range in the bottom end of the sensor. Andrew Nibbi the DIT, Chris Oh the Gaffer and my buddy Taylor Clemons the DP worked insanely hard on crafting the image. Taylor values moody high contrast darkness in frame so much, I've always joked around and called him Mr. Moods. I've been his AC for close to 9 years. Anyway, this was a great video!

This looks so good it might actually be a Brand New Day for superhero movies

brand new day was visually so appealing and heartwarming to watch. the colors and shooting styles, the general direction of the movie was perfect.

In the cinema, with my friends, i genuinely caught myself thinking "woah the cinematography in this movie is insane" the way they would rapidly roate the camera 180 upside down and film at such harsh angles was beautiful. I espeically loved the initial first person camera angle when spiderman leaped onto a building, the sense of direction was way off. Made me realise how hard it must be to flip, shoot webs, swing and land as spiderman, and how much skill it must take to do it without messing up.

NO BECAUSE I WAS GEEKING ABOUT COLOUR THEORY TO MY FAMILY and I just couldn't express myself properly, I'ma send them this BECAUSE YES

Gosh the colours WERE SO GOOD IN THIS MOVIE

The complementary colours of sea green and yellowy-orange can also be seen in sarah's scrunchie, which I think represents how the characters mirror each other in the end result of their arcs throughout the film.

finally, color is back ! it's so wierd that now that we have the technology to show all sorts of color, movies wanna go back to the black and white effect

Tom Poole was a colorist on BND and he's famous for working on Euphoria.

this movie was pure absolute cinema ngl

5:22 i love how we collectively labeled this movie as horror, because it is!! 😂

I hope this gets an Oscar nod for cinematography. I have some problems with plot of the movie but the cinematography and acting was so good that I don’t even really care, it’s just good. This is the first MCU movie to capture that amazing feeling from the video games in how it looks.

0:15 transition from this to spider man shot was bonkers and made me realize how dynamic and beautiful bnd really is ❤

peak movie and peak video. im so glad to finally see a good spider man movie where everything is intentional, where there isnt unneccessary CGI everywhere. The choreography, the colours, the story telling, it has finally become what it should always have been. Thank god they changed the director. After rewatching the previous three movies i notice how bad they were comparing to brand new day.

1:06 flinched seeing this frame

who would have told that when you make good art, people would enjoy it?

2:41 I mean he was right... If John Watts did it would look like that! I still can't believe he was in charge of 3 spiderman movies

you know when dastin daniel craton directs spiderman bnd its GOING TO BE SPECTACULAR like shang chi was so good

2:21 YESSS THE SWINGING. It's soo peakkk.
