One day. A streamer will be replaced with ai movie sounds and chat

It's nice to know I'm not the only one quietly freaking out about how everything we know (work, life, perception of reality) is going through a phase change

Another big issue is that people are taking AI answers as absolute truths without vetting their information. A lot of people don’t seem interested to see where AI got the information from, just that it feels good enough for the asker.

Could we all just take a moment to Ask Jeeves?

People need to be taught about the environmental impacts of AI.

You can argue about it being bad for the job market and education since it’s still so new in these areas. However, you can’t argue about it being bad for the planet… it’s just a fact it’s terrible for the environment.

I believe in a conspiracy theory that all of these AI channels are view botting

AI "getting good" is scary. Like I remember being scared about deep fakes and how someone could use it for nefarious shit like making it seem like someone is a monster. But all least with deep fakes you needed to talent to really trick someone. Now with AI generated speech and videos it's getting harder to parse what is real or not. I can't imagine how it'll look in a couple years or when people either using as a defense or lying about a video being AI. We're already having to worry about it with calls and "leaked" audios we need to have some things put in place to protect people.

we are doomed as a species

The concept of Ai was supposed to be that they do work for us so we have more free time to make art
But it's being used to make art so we have more time do work

the ai conversation would be more acceptable if it wasnt literally destroying our earth with the water consumption it takes to spit out slop

Getting closer and closer to proving the dead internet theory by the second

But in school, people do not use it that way... They use it to get the answers.. Comprehension is gone

15:54 on this an subsequent points: I think a huge benefit of AI is not to have it give kids in school all the answers, but to actually become a tutor or teacher for kids to help them on an extremely individualized basis to meet them were they are in their understanding and learning of topics. There's already online K-12 schools trying this out and it's showing success. Imagine the potential benefits to kids where teacher talent isn't as good due to funding or other factors.

Remember ladies and gents Chat GPT makes shit up sometimes, don't trust it. Look it up if you don't believe me

My only real concern is the social. With Loneliness at an all time high i fear people will turn to ai as a replacement for human connection further alienating them.

Can render some dope stuff with it.

I'm a digital artist and someone who's listened to ASMR videos since before it was even called ASMR
We are all so focused on growing our channels and making a name for ourselves that we've adapted to playing this social media game to get our foot in the door. That game is changing in real time now.
When i look around at other artists i see people who are chasing trends and creating slop to keep up the numbers and have their presence online, from watching ASMR channels i see the same too.
Whenever I look for ASMR nowadays one channel from another is almost indistinguishable in what they do and how they do it. The same goes for a lot of artists online.
What this has done for me, and I hope others see it as well is that you have to be creative. You are going to have to think outside the box now and create things that are interesting. Resist the urge to just redo what the ai is doing but in your own style. Make things that you actually enjoy creating and want to create. You'd be surprised at how many artists and creatives out there don't actually care about the content they're currently making on a personal level.

I think they made it to where they cannot monetize this sort of content anymore. but i bet they grabbed the bag on this one

The thing is, a digital artist could do this easily in a 3d software with custom sounds and audio, and frankly, it would be so much better. Ai doesn't care about accuracy or detail or any of these very important factors for art, its existance is to push out slop as fast as possible. So of course you'll get the lazy and uncreative nobodies who will use this for money. Defending it is a red flag since "haha artists mean nothing rip bozo" cope take gets thrown around, until the technology comes for their career's and lively hoods or they're lied to about a product being made by humans.

Youtube REALLY wanted me to watch this video. For about a week now its been the first recommended video every single time I open youtube.

The point of ASMR is ultra high fidelity sounds and none of these sound effects are sharp to my ear. The visuals are pleasant though.
