Leave dad alone with the kids for a day, send him to the mall with them and see if he's still resistant to actually parenting. He did the naughty circle only once and got praise, what about mom all day every day?

These two don't have any "communication trouble", they have living in different universe trouble.
She is raising a family, he is a visitor at a zoo, and the worst kind too.

So the father is irresponsible, and undermines the mother. This creates chaos and no boundaries. The dad goes to work, and leaves the fallout for the mother to deal with. She is left frustrated, and the children are in danger. The mother may as well be a single mother. Hopefully he changes his ways.

I saw on the Wiki that the parents divorced, the mom remarried and had two daughters with her new husband. I'm not surprised the couple didn't hold up. The dad doesn't seem invested in her or the family, It seems as if he doesn't appreciate her at all.

OK, be honest. Who wanted to slap the father upside the head within the first 12 mins? I know I did. AND...Why did Jo get up on a chair to put the snacks away as lazy daddy stood there and watched? This guy is really getting on my nerves! Scott said he thinks the "Same Page" theory will work good because it will help them become better parents...lmao! What the hell has he done through this whole process? I never once seen him interact with his kids! It's like he doesn't even live there. WHAT A JOKE!

I've watched many episodes of this show and you can tell Jo really likes the mother. She seems like a very sweet lady trying her best and open to changes.

When Scott says that he doesn't think Blake running out of the house like that isn't a problem I would've laughed and said it's a huge problem Scott When he could be hit by a car, kidnapped by someone for a ransom or molested by a pedophile or something else and he needs to stop undermining Jen's parenting choices and it disgusts me how Jo tells Jen that she needs to step up when she's making all of the parenting choices
