"friend" got me so bad that i started tearing up, that was so touching

If this video makes me more depressed im suing the guy who says "a grizzy a day keeps the depression away"

This game spoke volumes to me. As a person with disability being alienated my entire life and as an uncle i felt connected to the alien and his love for the child like it was his own. Thank you for making this video and for sharing the game with all of us.

this is why i love indie story games like this, wish more larger content creators played games like this that have extreme emotional depth. gives hope for devs to keep producing them for the world to enjoy their stories.

2:47:07, where Cleo says out loud “I don’t even like boys”, made me realize that her parents never once used that against her and that earlier in the video you could see a little pride flag sticker on her bedroom door across the hall during the couple of scenes Issac was being put down for bed (28:26). Obviously that’s not the main point of the game, and it was a fantastic, unique watch, but I like to think that Cleo’s parents don’t care who she loves, just that she’ll be okay and have a good future :)

Grizzy needs to play Before Your Eyes.

If you liked this, I suggest What Remains of Edith Finch. Great story, mini games, and feels all in one

POV: just spawned in

1:01:21 Rebecca "when they walk in that door i am NOT going to yell"
Rebecca 2 seconds later: "YOU NEED TO EXPLAIN YOURSELF TO ME RIGHT GODDAMN NOW!!!!"

Holy shit. This was a phenomenal watch. I just know for a fact that if i was the one playing this game i wouldve sobbed my eyes out. This game's story was absolutely beautiful and so well executed. I'd love for grizzy to play more story based and emotional games like this in the future

43:27 this moment broke me , as a mom of 2 , with one who’s been in the NICU for the last 10 months.

Holy sh*t. I cried. 3:21:59

badger and gizzy upload is one of a kind

For the best experience close your eyes when he closes his eyes it’s peak

The mirroring of the baby not being able to walk and wanting to thank his family but not being able to, and the grandpa not being able to walk and wanting to thank his family but not being able to DESTROYED me. Also the moms reaction to it, where she dismisses both where despite feeling looked down upon, both are trying to sing her praises, and in the end her coming around to the alien is peak

the story that she couldnt touch her baby and that the baby was connected to tubes and stuff like that. remembered me a little bit about me, i almost also died as a baby and had to stay at the hospital longer, so i really feel that game

A grizzy a day keeps the depression away

I don’t care if this is a second comment of mine did anyone one else assume that car at 23:47 was jake from adventure time because I was full ready for a plushie to get sent flying

I lowkey love Wendy, like she’s an asshole at the beginning but watching someone play the game after I played it shows you it’s because she just doesn’t know. Yeah she doesn’t care about you the first two times she meets you because she thinks you’re a shapeshifting alien. She’s the one who pitched to Elliot that Isaac is really just a baby because she was the one constantly watching you, and she realized you were acting exactly like her own children. Once the truth was revealed she was the first one to press Elliot about it, and at the end she not only is the one who helps you escape, she helps cover everything up for YOUR sake and she still goes to prison for what she did without fighting it.

She was a genuine person who thought she was trying to help the world, then when she found out what she had done she spent the rest of the game trying to make it up to Isaac

I like how Grizzy says if the mom and daughter continued playing for a little longer, he woulda teared up, but it was him who cut it early cuz he keeps being impatient and closing and opening his eyes too early
