One of the biggest horror surprises of the year is finally here! Obsession (2026) completely caught us off guard. 😳🔥
Written and directed by Curry Barker, Obsession follows Bear, a hopeless romantic who uses the mysterious One Wish Willow to make his longtime crush Nikki fall in love with him. But what begins as a dream quickly turns into a terrifying nightmare as the wish unleashes horrifying and supernatural consequences.
Starring Michael Johnston, Inde Navarrette, Cooper Tomlinson, and Andy Richter, the film blends psychological horror, supernatural suspense, and emotional drama into one of the year's most talked-about original movies. It has become a breakout box-office success, earning more than $400 million worldwide despite a production budget under $1 million.
In this reaction, we break down:
🔥 Bear's impossible wish
😨 Nikki's terrifying transformation
💔 The emotional ending

There are theories going around that the store clerk used his wish to get rid of his anxiety so that is why he was so chill when Bear came in looking like he did. I also heard one that he had wished for more of the one wish willows and when he realized he could only use one he started selling them

This is a great movie! Nikki really was the victim the whole time. Now she'll have two or possibly three murder charges, charges for desecration of a body, and probably charges for the money at Ian's. They'll suspect some type of cartel activity. And what would her defense be? "My friend made a wish that made me demon-possessed?" She might get lucky with an insanity plea and spend the rest of her life in a nuthouse, but getting off on insanity is tough. Her prints are on everything. She would have to prove that she was insane when the crimes happened. Moving a body doesn't look good for an insanity plea. Most people don't go for an insanity plea on murder charges because the threshold is high to prove insanity. A nuthouse might be better than prison but she'll still never be free either way. Poor Nikki!

Btw, I'm coming back to this channel to let y'all know that you are definitely one of the best reactors for this Movie. And generally but for this movie especially.

I've kinda been a bit obsessed myself watching reactions to this movie. And this reaction is by far one of the best.

And it's especially nice to see the guy actually being it back to BEAR being the absolute villain.

Fantastic to you both.

Oh and one more thing, the reason she started walking backwards was because wish Nikki could tell the real nikki was about to attack bear so she backed up to prevent that, that’s why she pump faked him 😂
And yes her face was distorting during the bedroom 3AM scene
