Jokes aside, this is trivial on guitar but as someone learning piano who was struggling with voicings on extended chords, this was so helpful.

I'm addicted to extended chords - all the Maj and Min 7ths, 9ths, 11ths, and 13ths. This was a useful and instructive video. Might have been nice to play them on the Rhodes, too!

My friend, you just opened up a new sound to me. I just tried both maj and min approaches. Well done and than you ever so much for your gift.

Interestingly, guitarist usually gravitate to this before learning scale degrees. It’s very easy to move guitar shapes up and down the neck.

Thank you for a perfectly-paced and exciting lesson Cam!! I’ve found the examples surprisingly confidence-building and practical in multiple ways:

1. They highlight patterns and connections on the keyboard.
2. The colourful sounds are a ton of fun, thus highly motivating to practice.
3. Because it’s built from LEGO-style triads it’s accessible to beginners and
4. Because they’re in parallel harmony, it’s a great satisfying way to practice all 12 keys while experimenting with sus-sounds, counter-harmonies and beginner rhythm chops.
