I took out the starting decks for three players and the player pieces for two players. I store these separately in my box of components-you-don’t-need-for-solo. This makes all the other cards fit nicely in the card areas of the insert.
I keep the 1, 2 and 3 tiles in their bags. Bag 1 and 2 go in the big compartment in the top left. Bag 3 goes on top of the scoring pad, underneath the player boards.
The player pieces for Sam and me (two cowboys, two trains, the discs and two cubes) go into the compartments where otherwise the 1, 2 and 3 tiles would go.
Works like a charm!
