I call this little tune, "Burning my spell slots!"

The cleric casting long range healing spells on the Barbarian swimming through acid is a hilariously DnD moment

You know it's getting real when a bard mage of medieval age starts playing heavy metal! This was one of the greatest moments of the show!

"You have to be insane to go in-"
Grog: "I'M GOING IN!"

Proof that heavy metal is stronger force than anything else.

DND has this weird ability to be simultaneously stupidly hilarious and genuinely epic. And this scene captures that vibe perfectly.

The best part about Scanlan’s performance is that technically he CAN be a one man band. In Dnd lore, bards can tap into the “song of creation” with their music. Scanlan is literally riffing so hard he’s making additional sounds with his magic.

A single handedly played electric guitar, bass, keyboards and drums on a single lute. Respect :)

When he used Mage Hand for all those hammer ons, I absolutely lost it!

I love grog jumping in with 0 hesitation

1:06 is no one gonna talk about how it was pretty smart for Grog to take off his clothes, because if he didn’t they would have been destroyed by the acid.

"YOU GOTTA BE INSANE TO-"

grog:SAY NO MORE

The OST of this is literally called "Heavy"

You can see and hear full well that the voice actors had SO MUCH FUN in every single scene they were recording! Love it... Free reign to go nuts!

Eddie: Saves friends from Demobats by playing heavy metal in the upside down 🎸

Scanlan: Saves friends from acid by playing heavy metal 🎸

Marty: Saves parents’ marriage by playing heavy metal in 1955. 🎸

Metal saves the world 🎸🤘

I really want to see Scanlan get into a musical bard battle with a powerfully skilled bard villain. A battle of the bands to the death.

Is no one else going to give Grog credit for his perfect dive form?

I've been loving this series all the way through, but this is where I lost my mind

Kaylee: "You'd have to be insane to go in."
Grog: Finally, it's my time to shine!
