I think it would have been informative to mention that exp 0 leaves you with 1hp when taking hits, to avoid one shots. It also adds a damage floor during bosses, so that they don't take forever.

(If you saw a comment from me before that I deleted, I got confused and thought this was kh2 before actually watching more than a minute, whoops)

Gamechamp: "So it turns out it's actually theoretically feasible to beat KH1 at level 1 if you're willing to abandon your sanity"
A bunch of madlads: "Yeah but what if we did it fast"

The biggest thing I'm taking away from this speedrun is that Japanese Sora voice is hilarious.

I didnt know the first box that touches the ground is the heartless evidence. damn i feel like i learn something new every time i watch these runs

I’m absolutely stunned that this video managed to go over ten minutes without mentioning damage storage. Great video!

Basically, the majority of the run:

Deep Free-- Deep Free-- Deep Free-- Deep Free-- For-- For-- For-- For-- For-- HEAL.

Jokes aside, you are a madman. I hope to see you beat the WR once again!

Final rest on level 1 was so unbelievably horrible that I had to resort to speedrunner tactics.
Luckily I wasn't speedrunning so I had access to better magic accessories, keyblades, and more cheer abilities so it wasn't as tight with the timings. Incredible that we've collectively decided that the best way to handle that fight is to force no interaction at all.

after you almost died to sabor with that one hit i got an ad for bandaids 😭

Alright, but this guy lets his stream know when an ad is gonna play. That is incredibly based

18:33 Sounds like Riley from the Boondocks show saying "All these Cats! All these Cats!" 😂😂

God I love short-hop Air combos. They look so satisfying.
Also I did not know you cound parry Genie Jafars Boulder

24:45 "The speed of the Gummi Ship is taken from only the fastest engine, so having multiple engines equipped doesn't make it go any faster"
MY ENTIRE LIFE IS A LIE D:

Donald with the clutch heals proving once again that he's a great healer.

As someone who’s tried this, it’s better to just watch this video

It’s so crazy and impressive to me how every single interaction is regardless of how small is precisely done even if it saves like 5 seconds or sum

Loved the video, cannot wait to see the follow up video where you tackle the speedrun of KH1 English on PS2 in Expert Mode 😎

I recently picked kh back up again because of your vids. I learned a lot of new tricks that you used which I had never known before. Keep up the great content!

Yo I want yall to know I’ve played this game for over 10 years frequently and hardly ever use magic I hack & slash but watching and getting older definitely learn and strategize more use of it. Basically magic was only for cure. Never really cared for abilities just equipped anything. Also never knew you could command Donald and goofy WHAT? Mind blown thanks for the vids man!

When I fought ansem I thought if I lost at any point I would have to do the entire fight over again, so I ended up using A video and following it to help me, Because I barely beat the first phase. The stress in the fight was unreal and this being my first KH game and not knowing how many forms he had I was constant like just die please! I played the ps4 version idk if it’s like that on the og version

You inspire me to spendrun this game
