You Did well. If it is not too large/tall, use the table you're currently using as your TV stand as your coffee table. Purchase a long taller console table with storage as your TV stand.
The brick feature wall should be taken into account. The brick is an earthy "busy" texture and color. The rug is an earthy busy color as well. Both rug and brick are "fighting" to command attention as they're both earthy colors. The faux cow skin rug was an excellent idea. A solid low nape rug (green, brown, gold) would allow contrast as well as a textural compliment if you decide against the cow skin. The couch is great for now. Good rich golden brown color. Love it!!! Furniture shouldn't be placed flat against the wall all around the room. Perhaps taking time to look online at Eclectic, Boho, Scandi, Mid-century modern aesthetics might give you inspiration, vision and decor options you never considered. Please keep in mind thrifting allows you to maintain a budget and often brings in great finds and treasures. Just a suggestion.......
The cow print is a definite no. It loos cheap. Move your furnature before you put a rug down. The first rug actually picks up the pink tones in the brick. I wasn't sure about the pink at first but it actually blends the brick and the orange sofa and makes it look like they're variations in a similar palette. And the first rug is a better size to pull everything together. Try draping the cow print over the sofa? Or send it back.
