Gorilla continues to be Adrien’s best parent despite having about 2 minutes of screen time per season

And people say Chloé wasn't abused or manipulated. This is two grown adults actively plotting to use a teenager to further they're own goals with no regards for her future. It doesn't excuse all her actions but it can't be ignored. And that's not even mentioning Rossi adding fuel to the fire

It's kinda funny how Chloe can be the first person to reject an akuma, but also be the direct cause of the next akumatization within the span of 5 minutes

I like that Chloe was the FIRST ever person to reject an akuma in the series. It was shown to be a nearly impossible task thus far, so seeing her achieve something most weren't able to do really speaks volumes about her growth as a person.

Both her parents are horrible role models to her as she's constantly surrounded in a negative environment, but Ladybug changed that and managed to be the one positive influence she's had in her life. She's the one reason that pushed her to change for the better, and rejecting the akuma due to her trust and admiration in her is such a neat thing they added.

but as USUALLL shame it doesn't ever go anywhere, astruc you suckk 💔

Here’s the difference between the writers of this show and gravity falls: GF: writers rewatch the past episodes to keep consistency for future episodes this show: writers get brain damage after writing each episode and say something happens literally only because they want it to

Btw, kind reminder that in S4, Rena Rouge (until Sentibubbler), Carapace, Viperion, Ryuko, Pegasus and King Monkey all got to keep their miraculouses, despite Hawkmoth knowing their identity.

"But Chloe did bad things." Felix commited genocide, tried to sexually assault Ladybug and transformed in public. For every bad thing Chloe did, he did something 10 times worse. Yeah, sure Astruc- The only person in the show who actually apologised for their mistakes and tried to be better when given the chance is worse than a corrupt Mayor, a terrorist, and a genocidal maniac.

Nowadays Chloes identity being known seems like a petty excuse from Astruc Marinette on why she isn't allowed to keep her Miraculous. Half of the team had their identities revieled by now and they get to keep them.
Felix used his to comit genocide and STILL gets to keep it.

Honestly, the miraculousses protecting the owner until they're completely broken is really interesting. It shields them from all damage but it raises the stakes when, like in this episode, Catnoir gets cataclysmed.

2:21, Gorilla continues to be the goat and the fact that the cast still treats him pretty crappy is a crime against humanity

So how does Gabriel slowly die after one cataclysm, but a teenager, SURVIVES 2 CATACLYSMS.

1:00 sigh..if only Chloe had a proper redemption arc

Imagine how good season 5 could of been if Chloe started hating Lila and began to work with Sabrina and Marionette to expose her

1:31 My theory is that Adrien has a really advanced form of dementia. He's not dumb, thoughts just leave his mind so fast his brain doesn't have time to register them

I really wish that this episode was more (and it pains me to say this) Chloé focused.

Like, maybe instead of having a good chunk of the non plot relevant moments, like Chloé talking to Lila, and the one-sided friendship moments with Sabrina, being replaced with scenes of her going over and through her memories, and the moments where she was Queen Bee, and *actually having a bit of character growth*, and realizing that what she did was wrong!

For example, there could’ve been a scene where Chloé looked back on when she first wore the Bee Miraculous and how she put so many lives in danger, get Akumatized, AND STILL, she got forgiven. Something, that if the writers had Any brain cells, would know needed to happen as to give Chloé more depth.

Even if we still take the route that she will eventually become a sorta villain, this STILL would’ve made sense!
She would have her reflection, realizing that she was in the wrong, and then properly expected that her time as Queen Bee is over. Then, when Heart Hunter comes around, she could have the smallest amount of hope that maybe, *just maybe*, Ladybug would ask for her help to save her parents.

Then when she doesn’t, and Hawk Moth shows up, (In my head this would be immediately after he gets the Miracle Box, unlike in the show) he would convince her to be Queen Bee, try to help, and then when she sees that Heart Hunter had already been defeated, she would get upset that could help when her own mother and father were the victims. Then, and ONLY THEN, would she get akumatized, and no longer be an ally to Ladybug.

little did they know, this ended up being the team name..

As someone who does firmly believe Chloe was never supposed to get a redemption arc (during the season 2-3 arc anyway) I really hate how they treated her afterwards compared to Felix. No wonder people think it’s personal with Astruc it just makes no sense

10:55  😂😂😂😂 Man. That's why I love Chloe (for now). She's just so dry and funny. Admit it, even when someone hates Chloe, you can't help but laugh at her sass

5:36 extra sin, Cat Noir was cataclysmed, but what happened to him doesn't coincide with what happens to sentimonsters when they're cataclysmed. What they could've done is have black marks like the Shadybug special appear on his face, and he could've gotten super angry and attacked recklessly if they really wanted to go with the idea he's a sentimonster, (I hate the idea of him being a sentimonster by the way, it ruins Adrien's arc, and potential to be a role model to other kids who relate to his abuse because it feels like it's sending the message "Adrien's not abused like you kid, he's a sentimonster following orders as he's supposed to." And it feels like a cop out to properly discuss the topic of child abuse and neglect). That could be a great reason for Hawkmoth to instruct Miraculer to leave, Cat Noir is litterally to feral to fight, so he wants Cat to burn his energy before coming back to deal with him. This once again proves the writers have no idea what they're doing and are just pulling ideas from the fandom when they've hit a wall with no thought of how it breaks lore and continuity.

12:42 Once again, I mourn what Chloe could've been, regardless of whether she got a redemption arc or a failed one. Either storyline could've been amazing, and I fully believe it started as a redemption arc as an attempt to focus on other characters than Marinette, and then turned her evil when she started to outshine Marinette/Ladybug just to go "Yeah! Exactly!" when people suggested she was a cautionary tale. It wouldn't be the first time they took ideas from the fandom, and let's be honest, they've made it clear the writers don't think that far ahead with the story. I do think Chloe should've gotten the redemption arc, and Lila the cautionary tale arc. If done right, they could've been parallels of the same lesson: The two different end results of giving someone a chance to change, and it would add the extra lesson of don't fall for sterotypes and your assumptions of people, anyone including the rich girl can change for the better and anyone including the girl you thought was your friend, and was just like you (semi same background as such) can change for the worst or refuse to be better. Then Chloe could have an extra one or two lessons to give, the first being that you don't need to wait for someone to give you the chance to be better (she'd still expose herself and lose the miraculous, but would accept the fact she'd never be given one again, and look for new ways to be a better person than just being Queen Bee) and secondly changing can be hard work but if you stick with it, it's worth the effort because realistically everyone would be wary of her change. Oh, what could've been...

Little did she know that Chloe being queen bee would proceed to haunt her for the next 8 years our time

I will ignore Chloe just to say this:
1. So, Gabriel made possibly one of the most broken akumas in the entire show, and never exploited its potential? Yea, he was just begging for his downfall at all costs.
2. That was a pure cataclysm in all its glory, senti or not the damage would have been badly regardless of protection. What happened in this episode is not to be taken lightly.
3. And yet, this will not be the last time we'll get powers being inconsistent in their usage.
