for the last two methods, only min and max can be used, rather than using vlookup with min or max, there are other ways to use min and max for look up value to be found in array, which you have not mentioned here.

This is a very good video - Thank you!!! It was very easy to follow you and understand the idea behind this formula. Just one thing was not explained and I had to go to other videos in order to understand it. This was the 0 in the formula at the end prior to closing the brackets. I learned that 0 or "False" is added when you want the vlookup formula to return an exact value from the table and column where we need information from.

I only use Excel for my business to make a cash book and an attendance tracker for my students so I'm not that good at it. I needed to use this formal and this video has been the only one that worked for me. Thank you very much!
