One of my favorites is during an interview for Confessions, the interviewer asked about how Madonna's "last few albums didn't do so well", and Madonna very politely corrected her.
"My last few albums? Not true. Just my last album. Music did good, and Ray of Light did amazing."
2 things: 1. How Madonna treated Gaga was horrible, even Elton said it. 2. Some of these moments of Madonna talking about Janet aren't actually shading Janet, they're actually her sort of DEFENDING Janet, e.g.: 'Janet showed a Nipple and you American press lose your minds, the same as I did with the Sex Book',
This is basic stuff for any celebrity. However, she is Madonna therefore will get way more attention than any basic celebrity because of that. She plays her role and does it well. She’s a queen in my book. Interviewers just fuel the fire.
"Interviewer?" INTERVIEWER?! That's Kurt Loder, for God's sake! He was the anchor of MTV News and even co-wrote the memoir What's Love Got to Do With It? with Miss Tina Turner.
