Just got mine a few hours ago, will be my group's first dip into nemesis , can't wait ....and will definitely be looking at your rules reference, they are always fantastic, really helped me with a few other games .
Great video , thanks again mate.

One thing to remember is the whole enemy phase doesn’t happen until all players decide to pass. It is not 2 actions for each player then enemy phase right after - the whole repeat until pass is not shown on the small player aide card so you can unintentionally make the game much harder for yourself .

And yeah luck / randomness is a huge part of the game and is probably going to be the biggest factor in deciding if this game is for you . That is if you are looking for a highly tactical/ sweat type game I would avoid retaliation

Excellent review! And thanks so much for all the rules references. Cheers from Brasil 🇧🇷

To recap if you play this game at a Game convention, and you die, thank them for the game and find another game to play. Your time is valued at a premium at a game convention, unless you want to play the aliens, if so, stay and play.

Got mine today. Great video. Thank you!

OMG!!!!! I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!

Nice video. So excited to get this in a week or so. I know some people dislike the luck factor of nemesis. I love it, it adds to the story and fun. You are so right about the stories lasting for months afterwards

Really good explanation.

Another great video! Thank you my man!

Thanks for the review. Have enjoyed it alot. Subscribed! 😊

I love the other two Nemesis games and will try this one tonight. Based on your video I assume it will be great!

Giving me echoes of Space Hulk but with lots more rules.  : )

Great video! Thank you. Just curious. Where did you get your play mat? That looks excellent!

Did your LG washing machine just finish in the background? 😊

Thank you for your post. Where did you get your playmat?

I've been playing it the past 2 weeks or so since my copy arrived and I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying it compared to the original and Lockdown. It just like the replayability of it and it feels bit more streamlined than the other games, even if I'm still dying most of the time. I haven't even gotten into any of the expansion material yet, I've just been going with the base game.

My only complaint though would be that Solo mode seems almost impossible to play with a solo character. It's like night and day between true solo and multiple characters. And oddly, it doesn't seem like the difficulty really scales with the number of characters playing, if anything, it gets easier the more characters you have. Each play shyer gets a standard 2 actions per turn, BUT event cards (the things that throw in random challenges each turn) only get drawn once per turn, regardless of how many characters there are. So with more characters they each get more opportunities to deal with those Event cards, whereas a solo character can't do much AND it's nearly impossible for them to secure corridors.

Maybe not everything needs to be solo-able, but they did specifically include a solo mode in this, so it should've been adjusted to account for the added difficulty.

I cant for mine to arrive :(

It’s funny Lockdown was my least favorite. I like how simple regular nemesis was. I felt they overcomplicated  lockdown for what it is. Not bad just not my favorite.

We’ve played twice and had TPK each time 😅

Hola piter!!!  Sube una partida nemesis  para ver cómo se juega y como se ve el juego por favor . Saludos desde España

Question that I’m trying to figure out. In regards to infection procedure, the rules are a bit weird. On the scanner card as well as the rest action cards. It states that all contamination cards in your hand are discarded. But in the rule book it says that you place all contamination cards on top of your deck…. So now I am just really confused. I figured I’d come and ask as to which portion of the rule to follow as my friends and I were a little confused and couldn’t find a definitive answer. Just wanted to pick some peoples minds
